10-8-2007 a angry customer I have ordered from Bella a number of times and usually have had good experiences. With the normal mistakes in orders here and there, I have always been satisfied. Well, tonight's experience changed all that. I phoned in a delivery order (mind you I live five minutes from the store, but being a mom of two kids, I rather delivery than pick up) at 9:00 pm, the store closes at 10. I ordered the chubber wrap (my favorite) a chicken parm wedge, chicken wings and a two liter of coke....they politely called me back after taking the order saying they were out of wings, would I like something else, I said no problem, forget the wings, just give me the order without them. 9:30 comes, they bring my food, I pay 21 dollars (tip included, order was 17.75) and close the door. When I opened my wrap, I was surprised to see it with no cheese, barely cooked chicken and no dressing like I asked added. A little annoyed, I called them back and complained. The so called manager told me there was nothing they can do for me besides credit me for a wrap. Credit me? I was hungry and wanted what I payed for. He then told me, Mike the manager, that the delivery boy went home and I was basically out of luck. I then proceeded to ask what I was supposed to do, and instead of offering to bring me another one, like he should of, he told me they were busy closing, and again he could offer me a credit. I said no and hung up. Angry as I was, I called back and asked when the owner would be in so I could speak to him...he told me Thursday and hung up. Two minutes later, I received a blocked number call on my home phone, answered it and was called a DIRTY WHORE by the caller who then proceeded to hang up. Now I ask you, is that a coincidence? Bella has fantastic pizza! If you didn't know, they often win the title of Best Pizza when they have the Pizza contest at the Civic Center. The family run business has a great menu besides their pizza. I can't resist their garlic nots, they are delicious. If you live closer to Hopewell, go to Nick's, it is their sister shop.
