Japan West is the only Sushi spot on main street so there is not much of an alternative. During lunch I was one of about 5 people in the restaurant, which was fine but it was pretty desolate. I had a Phillidelphia roll expecting the smoked salmon and had it served with imitation crabmeat, which could be a mixed blessing because I could not finish the smoked salmon sashimi due to the texture. The staff were friendly and I am sure it is more lively on a weekend night, but the sushi was not that great.

Japan West is a little expensive, but well worth it. From the moment you walk in the door you can tell this is an authentic Japanese restaurant. Both sections of the restaurant (There's a sushi bar in back) offer a wide variety of foods that are prepared before your eyes. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
