If you like fish and chips, this is the place. Ivar's has the best fish and chips in the area and they are reasonably priced. Their clam chowder is great. There are a number of Ivar's in the area so give them a try. I think you will really enjoy it. I would recommend Ivar's for fish and chips and chowder.

Ivar's is, of course, a Northwest classic. Their fish and chips are fabulous, and their side dishes are yummy, too. I have been to the Federal Way location many times and have always had outstanding service and delicious food. If you have out-of-town visitors and are looking for a quick meal, take them here instead of to one of the other chain restaurants. The food is much better, and it is a true Northwest experience. And be sure to go there yourself whenever you have a craving for perfect fish and chips.

The staff is very attentive and friendly, especially for a fast food establishment. The food is always hot and flavorful. The clam chowder is great and they give senior discounts. This location is always spotless and they remember your name when you come in. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.
