I have been eating at Vince's since I was a little girl. This place has great food and really reasonable prices. The meal always comes with hard bread sticks with butter, an extremely basic salad, not too exciting french bread with butter and of course, your exceptional entree. This place is kind of kitschy, in an Italian way, and the precurses to your meal just add to that. My entrees are always piping hot and hugely portioned. I read some other reviews about watery sauce and burnt pizza and my food never comes that way. If it did, I'm sure the servers would fix it, they are always nice to me and my family. The manager that I've noticed is also extremely hands on and is usually bussing tables, vacuuming the floor, getting to go boxes for people and just being a great help to his staff.
Sometimes the service is slow, but who cares? It's not like I go to Vince's to wolf down some food, I go there to chat with people and enjoy my time. If you have problems waiting then you should get a glass of merlot and sip while you wait. Same thing goes if you have issues with your server. I'm sure they were just having a bad night. Ever worked in a restaurant? It's an exhausing and sometimes irritating job. So get over it!
The dish I recommend is the gnocchi a la sorrentia. It has lots of basil and huge chunks of melty fresh mozzarella. All the pizzas are good as well. I am going there tonight for my birthday with my family and can't wait!
Pros: delicious food, great prices, casual

I have been eating at Vinces in Federal Way for as long as i can remember at least 10 years. I would eat there several times a week mostly weekend nights. The first 9 years of me eating there every thing was perfect, food was well cooked, servers were awesome, host greeted me very friendly and bus people very polite. This last year every thing has dropped. Their has been a lot of mistakes on my food burnt pizzas, wrong topping on them at that. Servers are going to make mistakes yes, but when my pizza was burnt they told me they couldn't get me another one because in their eyes it was not burnt to bad. i asked to speak with the manager to show him the pizza and they said he was not available on a Friday night at prime time dinner. Then i went in again knowing about the burnt pizzas and ordered a spaghetti and it was real watered down and asked to be drained of the watter and the server snapped back and said it was not watery but took it away real fast and brought it back a couple minutes later. so i figured i would try this place one more time knowing it was my favorite Italian food around and i went in and every thing was going good service was fast host and bussers real polite and friendly, had my drinks and bread sticks and saw the butter packets and it was all munched up like it has been handled a lot. I just didn't eat it, and when my food came it was the wrong order. I then got my servers attention and he told me this is what i ordered and he couldent change it he grabbed the manager and he politly took care if every thing and replaced it for me with the dish i wanted and took about 15 20 minutes. The last 3 or 4 times i have gone in to eat there something has gone wrong. The other years were suburb
Pros good tasting food, not to hard to get a table, price of pasta
cons rude servers, bad parking, bad service, food taking a long time even on just spaghettis.

The good: Quick service from the moment we walked through the door. Food was very tasty. Average prices for food in the area.
You decide: As we were eating, we heard the employees speaking (out loud) how they will bus tables from now on and leave the (un-used) butter and recycle it for the new customers. This is the kind of butter that is in a golden small package. So, we thought nothing of it. It wasn't the most pleasant thing to listen to over the music, but none the less, we kept eating. Well, half way through my meal I realized that not only did they "recycle" the butter, but also the pre-wrapped bread sticks found on the table when you walk in. I found a half eaten bread stick in the jar on the table and a straw wrapper with a used straw in the bottom of the glass container they sat in. Seems that when they re-filled the jar on our table, they did a poor job of quality control. Again, we decided, we'll keep on eating. I got up and handed the jar to the host, and one of the other employees laughed out loud when I handed it to him. One person may use the term unprofessional. We will not return. This is only the experience of 2 customers. You may have a different experience.
Pros: Taste of food
Cons: Taste of employees

My friends and family have been dining at Vince's for years. We keep coming back because you can always expect good food, but the service, not so much. About the last 6 months the service has been lacking. Its like they don't even have it together. You walk in and the host/hostess scramble to figure out where they are gonna put you, and depending on which server you get is how long it takes for them to greet you, get your drinks and put your order in. I have experienced pretty much every server there and I can tell you Rochelle, Kacey, Robert and Tamara are the best. I like to request one of their sections when I come in if they are not too busy.
Pros: great pasta and pizza
Cons: bad parking, no restaurant structure

Since leaving NYC and our friday tradition at Lombardi's, my family and I have droned through hundreds of places claiming to serve itailian food. Each time we stumbled through the exit with tomato sauce splatterd on my shirt and canned garlic butter haplessly shining my fingers, we vowed never to return. Well, last night everything changed. Lisa told me she had a craving from good Italian food and, loving my wife, I agreed to search for a new place even through I knew it would mean another night of remorse and longing for Brooklyn. Walking into the place we found it unassuming and, though in a strip mall, fighting for every ounce of ambiance it could muster. The desk staff took a second to get going but once they did, a pleasant fake smile and "right this way" delivered us to a back table away from the hustle and bustle of the front of the room. Moments later another family with young kids were treated tot he same seating location giving me a clue to the strategy!
This is a pizza joint, plain and simple. We ordered Veal and Chicken Parm, (both paper thin and slightly under-tenderized), pizza and ravioli for the kids. The "gravy" is excellent, caringly balanced with tremendous body and flavor but NOT overwhelming. My oldest boy ordered a medium margherita pie which saved the meal. After finishing my above average entree I grabbed a piece of his pie and was delighted to find an almost perfectly constructed crust and amazing flavor in the simple toppings. i dont think the oven reaches the 800+ degrees necessary to truly make perfect crust but it is pretty dang close. My younger son had pepperoni and what a pie! The pepperoni are fresh and intense and blend perfectly. I am planning an event for my employees on Friday and have 15 pies ordered! I will let you know how that goes!
Pros: Wonderful pizza, great sauces and gravy, prompt
Cons: basic entrees a little weak but still above average

Try the gnocchi its unlike anything i've ever had. They have pizza too. Great for after work, dinner, and family get togethers.
Pros: Good food, Good for groups
