Gino's has been a favorite of my family's for quite some time now. It is also the restaurant that our out of town friends request when they come to visit. The food is consistently good and the service has always been excellent. Have to say that we have tried many different items on the menu and have enjoyed them all. Pasta with bolognese sauce is great as is the halibut dinner. It is located in a strip mall setting and does not look like much from the outside, but the inside is cozy, nice warm colors. Happy Hour is good, too. Give it a try!

I love Gino's Bistro's pizza. It's got that chewy crust and basic tomato puree sauce [hint of garlic] and wonderful cheese. Sometimes you can find coupons in the Federal Way mailers for take-out pizza. Once you enter the restaurant, though, you are in a different world of linen tablecloths and napkins and fancy food and wine. The food is delicious, but not cheap, so I don't go to the restaurant all that often. Now, as romantic as the interior is, the outside is in a mini strip mall with a grundgy gas station and mini-mart. You might not expect to find such good food here, but it is the perfect neighborhood bistro to take your loved one for that special occasion. They also have Mother's Day Sunday Brunch that is to die for!
