Our family thought this park was awesome! We spent the afternoon here one hot day and wanted somewhere to cool off. The lake was perfect. Not only is there a lake, but there also is a huge playground structure. My kids were never bored. They alternated between swimming at the lake and playing at the playground. We packed a picnic lunch, and staked out a picnic table right by the playground. We got there early enough, before it got too busy, that we were able to secure that table. Come 1 pm, all the tables were taken and the park was getting a little bit crowded. The lake was great. It had a roped off area for the little ones, and then the dock area in the deep end for the big kids (and adults) to jump off. There also is a snack bar and real restrooms (as opposed to the porta potty).
