If you want professional photos of your kids or family but you don't want to pay to have a pro come out to your house, this is a nice alternative to the national chains. And if you can buy just the prints you want instead of the five-pose packages offered by The Picture People in the mall, you'll realize Yuen Lui is no more expensive, but the quality is much, much higher. You will have to wait a couple of weeks for your photos, but it's worth it. So is the framing, which is a lot more reasonably priced than you would expect.

This store has been remodeled, and is a very nice place to shop. I especially like the photo center, and being able to have pictures developed nearly. The people in the pharmacy are very friendly and helpful. Parking is great, the the variety of things they carry--the usual drug store items, plus cute decorative items make it a good place to stop.
PROS: pleasant, up-to-date store.

This is a newer, clean store. But it's not organized very well and the customer service is absolutely horrible. They were almost always out of sale items and they kept telling me I had to come back instead of getting a rain check!!
Cons: Rude!

I've been taking my dog to Janice's Critter Care Dog Daycare for about 6 years now and think that it is great. My dog is always excited to get there in there in the morning when I drop him off; and just as excited to go home with me when I pick him up. I find the staff very dog knowledgeable and they have helped me with some minor behavior problems he has had. The best thing I like is when we get home my dog is tired from playing all day and is ready to relax with me and watch the tube before bed. Thanks Janice

Fleur de Lis is the best flower shop in Federal Way. Their flowers are unbelievably long lasting and their customer service is top notch. I would highly recommend this shop to every one I know. There is no comparison to any other shop in Federal Way, and I guess they deliver everywhere so I use them even if I want to send flowers to Seattle or Tacoma!

Wild Waves and Enchanted Village has something for everyone.
This is the greatest water park I have ever been to in the Pacific NW.
The water park has numerous water rides like the rapids, thunder falls, zooma falls, and even a fantastic wave pool.
They have a kiddie water section. With palm trees that rain, pee wee rapids and so much more.
They have a huge food court, a restaurant , or you can bring your own picnic.
They have lockers and changeing areas and the restrooms are clean and tidy.
The enchanted village has the best thrill rides and lots of things for the little one's too
Prices are great for all you are getting ,The Enchanted village, The thrill rides, Arcades and the Wild Waves water park all in one place.
Money well spent for such a fantastic day with your family. I was so impressed can't wait to go visit again.

Lots of good suggestions have been made. Discovery park in Seattle and Point Defiance Park in Tacoma are a couple more great spots.
I am a portrait and wedding photographer and I encourage couples to personalize their engagement portraits by selecting a location that reflects their relationship and interests. Where you met, your first date, first kiss, where you proposed, or other memorable occassion, your favorite spot to hang out, or where you do your favorite hobbies. Ultimately, the portraits should be about the two of you more than the location.
Have you booked your wedding photographer? The engagement session is a great opportunity to get to know and work with your photographer in a relaxed setting before the wedding. Also many offer a special engagement package to their wedding couples. Your photographer should have ideas for you if they are experienced.

The Cat Doctor is Great! We know cats and we are simply the best
veterinary facility to care for cats in the Pacific Northwest.
How do I know? I have worked here for 6 years and love it!
I have seen first hand the long hours of dedicated work put in
by everyone from doctors to the housekeeping staff.
Every employee here is a certified crazy cat person.
If you thought it was expensive, then you do not understand the
value of quality veterinary care. Good care, trained staff, and state
of the art equipment costs a lot. The costs are part of having a
place that is clean, nice, and plenty of caring people, who
may actually know what they are doing. What is that worth
to you?
Do you think the owner of the vet clinic down the street that has
bargain prices, does that out of the goodness of his/her heart?
If you want cheap, go down the street and I am quite sure you
will get your money's worth.

I have been to that location once. They often have coupons for a free exam, if you have animals you know how expensive just the exam can be. I took my cat there after she had been in a fight and had an infected wound on her neck. It was very easy to get the appointment and we were seen very fast. The vet was ok, not overly friendly or gently with my cat. The receptionist was very friendly though. They gave me my cats medicine but didn't tell me how much to give her, so I had to call back and check with them. I don't think I will go back.
