Marlene's is the place to go in Federal Way if you need organic vegetables, and natural food products. They recently expanded their store and moved into the old Federal Way REI store in the Gateway shopping plaza. The upper floor [open air] has the deli and it is so much bigger than the old store. I know a lot of stores have organic products, but Marlene's has a great selection and a great variety.

Marlene's is located in an old REI space. The deli is located upstairs, as well as the espresso bar. The sandwiches here are like a good workout... you just feel great after eating one. You can add a variety of toppings for free. And the toppings are all very fresh. I like the ability to add a variety of different vegetables including grated carrots, cucumber etc. The breads are fresh, and they have non wheat alternatives like spelt. They also have a variety of healthy fresh baked goods, salads, vegetarian items and an awesome salad bar. While you wait for your sandwich to be made you can get a quick seated massage. They also have daily rotating hot items.
