We recently discovered La Casa Bella, although it has been there for 2 years and we had the gastronomical surprise of a lifetime! It is by far the best Italian food in So. King County and the best food in Federal Way. We have been there about 8 times since March and we keep going back because nothing compares. From the gracious greeting upon arrival by owner/chef Iram Macias and his lovely wife Sylvia, to the phenomenal infused olive oil for your bread, to the best carpacchio we have ever had, to the most creative salads to the wealth of entrees, including Saltimbocca, Vitello Milanese, superb desserts and by far the best wine list and pricing around. I have also experienced lunch, which is equally as good and Iram is willing to create whatever you may want, even if it is not on the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant, it is always a treat to enjoy the company and good food of the Macias family.

I've lived in this area for about 12 year and wanted to try something new and when I saw this restaurant open for the first time, I was very interested in trying it out. This is one of the newer restaurants in Federal Way but it's a great one. Very delicious, simple, straight forward dishes. This is the second time I've eaten there and the service is always consistent and the food is great! Prices are very reasonable and I have recommended this restaurant to all my friends and family. If your in the Tacoma/Federal Way/Seattle area and looking for a hardy meal, check out La Casa Bella and you will not be disappointed. Pros: Great food, simple, and hardy Cons: None

Had to try this place heard alot about it. It looks good from the outside but the inside is not your typical Italian restaurant but the quality of food isn't bad for the price you pay. The serves was slow, the waiter wasn't to impressive. I'll stick to Verrazano's.

This is high quality Italian cuisine. Iram was sous chef at Assaggio in Seattle for Chef Mauro Golmarvi and helped develop the recipes for Golmarvi's cookbook where you will see Iram in several photos. Iram knows how to prepare just about anything extremely well with beautiful presentation and when his budge allows for spiffing up the place, the dining experience will be even better. Great wine selection available at a variety of prices, accomodating waitstaff and a friendly chef that likes to come out and greet his guests.

This is a new jewel that's been open less than a year in the old Indochine building on Pacific Highway in Federal Way. Iram Machias, who I'm told was the sous chef at Assaggio in Seattle, along with his wife are the owners. It's nothing fancy, but they do a really nice job with everything from pizza, pasta, veal, and a couple of specials on the weekends. We've stopped going to Verrazano's after two visits to La Casa Bella. Two problems to note 1) parking can be an issue with all the Korean restaurants right behind this building 2) it has full windows facing west and their air conditioner is at times overwhelmed. Pros: Food, the owners Cons: lots of sun from west facing windows, can get a little loud
