Tacqueria is the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in Washington State. Coming from SoCal I was used to real Mexican food and never really found it in Wash. But Tacqueria is it! They use real, fresh ingredients and it’s a family owned restaurant. You can order in Spanish if you’d like. Everything is so good, it’ll remind you of the food in Mexico. Definitely tasty!

The Emeral Thai II is the best place for thai food that I have found! They have a quiet atmosphere as well. They have great appetizers and entrees as well. They offer a friendly staff and delicious food. We try to go there every other saturday for lunch. My three year old son even loves the food! The price is affordable and they serve large plates so you are able to take plenty home for leftovers!

I've eaten in a lot of Chinese restaurants and Peking Wok has been the best in Federal Way for at least 15 years. Their pot stickers are the best I've ever had anywhere in the greater Seattle area and their lo mein is also excellent. Two of my favorite dishes are the Hot and Sour Fish and the Long Green Bean with Garlic . They have a party room for larger groups and a large round "lazy Susan" table as well.

This is my new favorite teriyaki place in the Twin Lakes area. They have a "house special" which costs 21.75 with tax that includes basically four full orders of food plus two salads and an order of gyoza. Their sauce is really tasty and their salad dressing is unlike anything I have ever had.

If you enjoy Teiyaki you will love the Hana Two Teriyaki Restaurant. You can sit down and enjoy the food or order ahead and pick it up. The staff is very friendly and the food is great and they will get your order out very quick. The portions are huge and you will probably have leftovers. They are fairly inexpensive and often mail out coupons.

Be prepared for an overpriced, mediocre at best, meal! Their broiled seafood platter was underwhelming. With this entree you can look forward to: overcooked, harden fish, scallops the size of my stud earrings (overcooked again), veggies that lack flavor, and shrimp that live up to their name (shrimpy in size). All this for a mere $13.99. Egads. I had a meal cooked by culinary students from a local high school that could dance circles around these "chefs" at Red Lobster. Save your money. If you know good quality food, you will choose another restaurant. Their saving grace was a waitress who was kind, gracious, and had a sense of humor (you'd need one to work there).
Pros: None
Cons: Food

I'm fully convinced that the yakuza are going to shut this place down, as they are the ONLY teriyaki joint open on sundays that I know of. As for the teriyaki, it's as good as you'll find anywhere else (most teriyaki from strip malls is created more or less equal), but the real star of Ichi Teriyaki is the yakisoba. They give you a huge portion, with plenty of veggies, and it's probably the best yakisoba in Federal Way.
Pros: Open sundays!
Cons: Teriyaki is average

I have been going here for the past 5 years, and the chicken teriyaki and SALMON teriyaki is very good. Sauce is just the perfect sweetness and saltiness, and salmon is fresh. Except, during the past 2 years, the portions have been reduced significantly. If you don't mind paying $7 for 1.5 small pieces of Salmon, I'd say go for it. If you are looking for great salad, order two whole green salads. The dressing is a vinegary, sugar, garlic, and oil mixed concoction that is PERFECT. Never in my life have I craved a salad dressing as healthy and delicious as Tokyo Teriyaki's. I was thinking about it from all the way from the East coast!! Stop by if you have a full wallet, if not, at least go in for the salads. Order 2!!
Pros: Salad dressing is genius
Cons: Smaller portions the past 2 years
