Dashpoint Family Dental Dr Moore

I had a good encounter with the whole office from the time I walked in to meeting Dr. Moore. The front staff were very nice and encouraged me to call back if I had any questions and Dr. Moore went out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work he performed. His staff even contacted me the next day to check on me and that went a long way in my book. I would recommend him to anyone. more

I had a Nightmare experience with this Dentist.. First of all when i sat in the chair he had to have his assistant show him how to pull up my xrays....that shud have been pause for me to leave then..all he did was just run his mouth on how he cud run my bill up after he had slaughter my tooth abd i was still in pain..and I doubt that he would do anything free. Cuz hes too greedy for money.. My advice stay clear from there.. more

I did not have a pleasant experience with this dentist I had work done on my upper molar tooth, and a drill was used that caused extensive nerve pain, that i had to be numb again for havin so much pain. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone I know.. Please be Aware and check a dentist background be going to see him more

I have been very happy with the services of Dr Moore and his staff since i started having my teeth worked on at Dash Point. The entire staff along with Dr Moore always puts your mind at ease. I disagree with the negative reviews i have read on this site. My prior dentist was dishonest and my insurance dropped him from their list. I have not had any problems at Dash Point with billing or service, i have had excellent care. The main reason I am writing a review (i never take the time) is because yesterday Dr Moore went above the call of duty and fit me into his busy schedule to repair a broken temp cap after it was accidently broken during a surgery on my foot. more

The Dr. gave me a creepy feeling from the moment I sat down. I was a bit nervous to start with and this feeling kept getting worse as he chatted with the staff while working on me. He was actually watching TV and commenting on that too. When I got home and told my husband we did a Google search and discovered what he had done to that poor girl employee. more

My mother went to Dr. Moore to have her gums looked at. She left with a dead tooth. They ended up cutting the tooth that was to have light gum work performed, which, ultimately killed her tooth. Dr. Moore denies responsibility even though there is a clear indentation from the drill running across her entire tooth. I should also note that the indentation is far above her gum line. Don't go here. There are far better dentists in the area. more

I find it odd that the favorable reviews were both done at the same time. I suspect an employee, if not the Dr wrote them himself. This Dr is always trying to pull teeth, instead of repairing. Went somewhere else that said it wasn't necessary to have my teeth pulled. Furthermore they overcharged my insurance. I work for an insurance company, and the claims are borderline fraudulent. I agree with others, he is dogmatic. more

Dr. Moore does the best root canals and crowns. I came and had both done on the same day, the whole processes was completely painless. The TV's they have in the rooms are such a great distraction. I was able to go to work the next day completely comfortable. The best part is that his prices are great too. I called around town and he completely beat everyone else's prices. I will be bring my family in for their cleanings and check up's. I would recommend him to anyone and their families! more

I came to Dr. Moore because I needed a bridge. I had it done about 2 years ago at Bright Now Dental and now it was off because of their faulty work. Dr. Moore went above and beyond his job and got on the phone with Bright Now Dental to let them know that they were responsible for that bridge. When the office did not take responsiblility for Dr. Moore did the bridge him self at no cost. He was more conerns about my well being them money. He, his office, and staff are great! more

I came into the office because I needed a bridge. Previously Bright Now Dental had done the bridge but because of their faulty work i came off 2 years later and they did not want to take responibilty for it. So I started looking for another dentist and found Dr. Moore. He went above and beyond his job as a dentist by calling Bright Now Dental to let them know they were responsible for the faulty bridge, but when they did not want to stand behind their work Dr. Moore re-did my bridge for free. He was very concerns about my well being and not about the money. He, his staff, and his office are great! more

I got a crown 8 months ago. It took 3 different times to get it to fit properly, and now it's cracked and the metal is coming thur. I would have gone somewhere else if i hadn't already paid the $800 dollars patient responsibility. The whole time he made discrimanating comments about religion and politics that were unsolicited and unwanted after I was in the chair and he was over me with his tools in my face. I would not recomend this doctor to anyone and I would stongly diswade anyone who would want to. more

I agree that he needs to focus on teeth instead of talk about a bunch of nonsense. My root canal that Dr. Moore did in 2008 was not done correctly. I had to go see a different dentist to have it fixed. more

The staff at Dash Point Family Dental are all very professional except Dr. Moore. He did not have his mind on his work while I was getting my teeth worked on. He should be concentrating on the procedure and patient instead of talking about every thing under the sun except dentistry. When I asked a direct question about options for a procedure, I got only one answer.....no options and even that was very abrupt. When I was under his care I mentioned two times that I had a sensitive tooth, he said the cleaning would clear it up.....it never did. Now I have a chipped tooth and another that is very sensitive to hot and cold......I don't expect that to happen when I am under a doctors care. Therefore, I have changed dentists. more

I have a front tooth that is has been dead for over 15yrs and is discolored. I've had 4 dentists tell me to leave it as is; it's a healthy tooth, just yellow. Cosmetically it never bothered me. Before Dr. Moore even looked at my Xrays he decided that my tooth needed a root canal and a crown. No other dentist has ever told me this. After he saw the Xray he told me what every other dentist has said BUT ADDED, "You don't want to be THAT girl in the wedding picture with the yellow tooth. You need to really think about getting it crowned." I have never been so offended in my life. So I found a new dentist. Dr. Moore personally called me to ask why I switched. He arrogantly claimed that he would never say that to a patient. Then he made it worse by telling me,"If I didn't tell you that your tooth needed to be crowned, then you will come back to me angry that I didn't recommend crowning the tooth when you have your picture taken. Pictures make a tooth appear more yellow because of the translucence. I don't want you angry at me when you take a picture with a yellow tooth. I have to recommend these procedures." WOW, you really made me feel better. I have tons of pictures with my yellow tooth and it never bothered me or made me angry at any of my dentists. It was NEVER an issue until the day I met Dr. Moore. Too bad, because I really liked his hygenist. She did a great job, was gentle and very knowledgeable. I want a good dentist, not a salesman to work on my teeth. more

paid quite a lot of money for treatment that was never done right. still having problems to this day. no wonder this dentist never had any problem booking appointments. he never had any other patients there while either. his xray technique seems to be lacking, as they are blurry. possibly for a reason. more

I was very impressed when I used Dashpoint Family Dental. I needed to get a done and they got me an appointment very fast. The staff was just great and very helpful. They made the whole procedure as painless and relaxing as possible, offered me headphones and cd's to listen too. If you are looking for a painless dentist with a lot of experience, I would go there. more
