Move over Jimmy Mac's this laid back down home restaurant is really awesome. Not only do they serve a fabulous mesquite steak but you need to check out the saloon where some of the drinks are served in mason jars. bring the kids they have a great kid menu and roadside service to go. Terrific prices.

I eat at Outback quite a bit. They are the only restaurant where you can get a Wallaby Darned! Food is mediocre. The service is better in the bar. I love the bread and salmon. Usually that is all that I get along with veggies. The asparagus is the worst I have ever had. You can't even bite into it. Love asparagus so that is a bummer.

Recently two of us went to Shari's for brunch.The service was OK-I wish the waitress would have spent more time taking care of us then socializing with her fellow workers and sucking up to her boss.The food took forever to get.Infact it sat up on the counter for 15 minutesbefore the waitress got around to serving us.The women's bathroom was dirty and needed some much needed cleaning and disinfectant.The food was really greasy! When we confronted the manager about the hash browns dripping with about 6 tablespoons of grease she replied that was the only way they could get them to brown.The cornbeef hash was barley warm and potatoes were crunchy as if they were maybe frozen in the centers.Poached eggs were covered in water-hard cooked and cold and the sausage and bacon were dripping with grease as if they had been cooked in the deep fat fryer.The french toast was good the one slice of bread was a very small portion and it was cold to.We had to get the waitress attention just to get water and soda refills and stood in line at the cashier station 9 minutes while the cashier (manager) socialized with a customer before taking his food order which made us late for a doctors appointment . I've been to alot of Shari's and have always been happy with the service and food but this Shari's is not up to standards and we will never go back to this one again!!!

I attended a baby shower at this Old Country Buffet in one of the banquet rooms. I paid $13.63 for the dinner buffet that was being served starting at 11:30 a.m., but after looking at the food lost the little appetite I had in the first place, so I went right back and asked for a refund. The cashier said the managers were both outside, and she'd come get me when they came back.
An hour and a half later, no one had ever gotten me and I still had not eaten anything, so on my way out, I again asked for a refund. The manager was abrupt and rude and soundly refused to give me my money back, even though I hadn't eaten anything. He said I could stay and eat now. Yeah, that made a lot of sense, since I was on my way out the door and didn't want their lousy food anyway. I was there for the baby shower. I felt totally robbed.
Basically, if you want any form of good customer service, don't go to Old Country Buffet. Instead of treating me like a human being and acknowledging I'd made a mistake in ever paying for the buffet in the first place, I was made to feel stupid, like I was trying to cheat THEM instead of it being the other way around.

Cons: The management and customer service are horrible
