I have been going to Peking Gourmet since the early 80's and have never had a bad meal. I love the family style servings and the lazy susan on the table to facilitate sharing. The duck is always cooked to perfection then carved tableside. The pancakes are thin so they complement and not over power the duck. Make sure you ask to take the carcass home to make duck soup! The whole family loves to watch as they assemble the first pancake for you with two spoons.
Reservations are a must, especially on the weekend and with large parties. This is a little more expensive than your typical Chinese restaurant but it is well worth it.

We had a $8 off coupon for an oil change. They tried to charge us $48 just to check the cabin filter for our van. The part would be extra if we needed one. We bought our van there but will not go back for service. Jiffy Lube checked it for free.

This place takes up the entire basement of the seven corners center, and needs the whole thing. It has tens of thousands of different fabrics of every imaginable material. My wife got the stuff for her wedding gown here, and there was 50 or 60 different fabrics just in the off-white category of whatever the formal fabrics are called. She's also taking some of their sewing courses- they offer from introductory through advanced on site.

This place has the best ice cream. There are 4 flavors offered every day now, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and a rotating flavor (ie seasonal, new creations etc). It's so good I'll even go there in the dead of winter when it is blizzarding outside. They've expanded from just ice cream to a pizzaria although I have yet to try any of their actual food. You can also get ice cream in pints to take home and keep in your freezer.

These guys are more than top notch. Returned my initial phone call right away, Rep came 2 days later. Crew came a day before scheduled because rain was in the forecast.
After the job was complete, I had a small concern and the Rep came over personally.
A+++ Service and proffesional attitude.

If you do not have a green thumb, you need to go to Merrifield Garden Center. They have excellent staff who can understand your plans and really give you complete advice about starting a garden, or general landscaping, or just house plants. They are more expensive than a Home Depot type place, but with the higher advice comes a bigger selection, better advice, and higher quality plants. They also have a large selection of advanced ladnscaping implements, like lawn ornaments.

We've had two great, recent experiences with Tom and his shop. We brought our Explorer in last weekend and sought his help in diagnosing the problem. He was able to check it out that day and give us the advice we needed to avoid the problem. Today we had him inspect a car we were considering purchasing. He did a thorough inspection and found that the frame had been built in an accident. This could have easily been overlooked. He's very professional and honest. I highly recommend him!
