DiPrima's is one place where I feel I am given honest advice and fair pricing. Which is rare for a woman in need of auto repair. I have had 2 fairly major issues with my '97 Subaru this year, and I have had 2 great repair experiences. In both cases, my work was explained fully and in 'cars for dummies' terms I could understand. My options were outlined, along with pricing. New parts vs. used, labor vs. parts, everything was laid out for me. Instead of being lied to and overcharged, I had my car fixed for a great price with head-spinning turn-around. Where other garages told me it would take 5 days to do my front brakes, DiPrima's did them in 2. And they checked the work they had performed several months earlier to make sure everything was still good with that repair. I feel confident in the work they do, they are all extremely kind and respectful, and they always charge me far less than I am quoted elsewhere.

This shop has been around since my brothers were car fiends in high school (they are in their 30s now!). I like BanD because they are small, close to my home and willing to help me. They even put the filter in my car after I bought it. They have come out and helped me install wiper blades, too. I prefer the small size of the store. Bigger auto parts stores make me feel overwhelmed. I like being able to go in and describe what I need in my language and have them know exactly what to show me.

This is a father/son piano tuning business. I really enjoyed them--the son tuned our piano and really spent time to take it apart, clean it, and give it a nice tuning. You can tell they really like pianos. Both have spent considerable time giving me guidance on how to do some refurbishing of our ivory keys. I will definitely use them next time.

This is a small vitamin and health food shop in the cetner of Fairport. I didn't discover it until I was looking for some Nature's Plus vitamins. The shop carries this in addition to other high qualify brands of vitamins and minerals. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and puts out a quarterly newsletter. There are periodic sales as well. It is a step above the franchise vitamin and mineral shops.

Many of my neighbors use Arbor Real for their lawn and tree care so I called and asked them to come take a look at my new house. I have a large yard, numerous fruit trees and a lot of trees that need trimming, whacking and pruning. Brian and his crew came out the next day, explained everything so competely I think I actually understand! He gave me a very thorough written estimate and a price for all the services I need in every combination I requested. The whole neighborhood looks spectacular, so I know their work is top notch.

We are very loyal customers. We not only love the pizza but the bread bowl salads are scrumptious! Our order always comes to the door earlier than the time slot they give us for home delivery - which is a plus and why we order so often. The food is consistent in taste from week to week and the restaurant is clean and organized. The crew is always friendly and down to earth.

Holy Cannoli has the most amazing cake. The almond cake is to die for. I am a huge dessert person and I have never tasted anything so good. We had the cake for our wedding and the guests could not stop talking about how good it was. People went up and took 3 pieces at a time. If you are looking for the best cake around you need to go to Holy Cannoli!

Home made gelato in so many different flavors that you can't just pick one. The store is extremely clean and organized. I don't think I have ever seen an ice cream/coffee/desert counter so clean! It is family owned and they are all so personable and friendly.

The sales staff is knowledgeable and offer great products at great prices. They didn't try to force us into buying more than we wanted and were able to identify merchandise that would best suit our needs. The employees also made sure that my sons bike helmet was properly fitted and that he knew how to use it before we left.
