A great little sandwich and pastry shop. Good place for a soup and sandwich lunch. They serve quality food and you can always top it off by their trademark French pastries. The one thing I didn't like about the place is that your drinks were bottled or canned sodas rather than serving in a glass. Seating is very limited so arrive early.

While visiting the Rochester area I had stopped in this delightful bakery for a bite to eat. I enjoyed breakfast there where I was served the most incredible fruit stuffed french toast I had ever had. If I was able to fit it I would have ordered another plate. The Bakery has a european feel to it without the expensive airfare. After finishing my breakfast I proceeded to buy a box full of pastries to bring home. They were so delicious. They were to die for! A definite must if you are in the area. The food is fabulous and the welcome is warming.

I recently attended a party for which Patisserie Jean-Claude catered. Spicy beef tips, artichokes french, phyllo cups filled with salmon and capers or crab and cucumber, mini pastries and of course a beautiful cake were amongst the menu items. Apparently the new owners of this fine establishment do everything from wedding cakes to pastries to catering a dinner party. Besides serving lunch in their small but quaint place, I've also been told that they put out a great breakfast. I'm looking forward to trying that next. My hat goes off to the creator of such delicious food and baked goods.

I have just visited this pastry shop a few weeks ago and I received outstanding customer service and the food was amazing. I usually don't take time out to say anything good/bad, but this was exceptional. Jean-Claude has new owners and they treat everyone as if they are apart of their extended family. They are warm and inviting and the food is amazing. The pastries (hands down) are exceptional, yet they serve great sandwiches and other things for your lunch needs. They even delivered to a business meeting I was having. I then ordered a Birthday Cake and I didn't know what I wanted, just a few ideas.... The cake turned out to be more than I could have imagined. Bright colors, beautiful decorations and ever so tasty. I am so glad a friend recommended that I stop in and order. They are hands down the perfect neighborhood bakery. You have to stop in and say Hi and order something. You won't be disappointed. I promise! Thanks to the staff at Jean-Claude for being a cut above the rest!
