Me and my girlfriend live in an apartment together in Fair Oaks and we decided to go out to sushi one night. We saw Midori Sushi was located not too far from where we live and I remember people talking about it one day at work so I figure I go there with my girlfriend. We went there Thursday evening and were very impressed by their service. We were greeted and seated immediately and the waitresses were very polite. We ordered the $49.95 sushi boat and it came with a variety of food, it came with 3 rolls and lots of nigiri and sashimi. The food looked and tasted amazing. The sashimi was very fresh, me and my girlfriend were very impressed and pleased with the food and service. We recommend this place to anyone.

Anytime you crave sushi or just need a sometime to get out and eat - Midori is a great place to eat. Very highy recommend this place Pros: High quality food and service Cons: it can get crowded on the weekends but well worth the wait

I had lunch here after looking at some of the reviews. I came right after opening, 11:00 AM, and the staff was super friendly. The wait staff was so courteous, they treat you like you are royalty. The food was good too. Their miso and edamame were very good and fresh (as well as free), and I ordered the dancing spicy tuna roll. It was plated really well - and man did it taste good. I still consider myself a sushi-newbie, but this place rates as the highest in service of all the sushi places in sac, and easily one of the best tasting!

I have really enjoyed this Sushi Bar. I have also enjoyed meeting some new people as I dine, that have become regulars too. It is a very clean place to dine. I am pretty particular where I eat sushi because when you have had fresh fish, you expect fresh fish. My wife, who hates fish, even likes to eat lunch or dinner at Midori, enjoying one of the "boxes." The family owned business is friendly, clean and the quality fish I expect. It has become a place that I entertain business lunches. I enjoy the fact that the Sushi Chef will create a Sushi Roll or Sushi to my specific liking. This has typically been my best kept secret however the clientele is growing so it can be pretty busy at night. Thats OK, because I receive great service and the best quality sushi. I do not mind waiting for that. I would recommend Midori to anyone who likes friendly service, great quality sushi, a clean surrounding and a place to always return to. Pros: Great Sushi and food, clean and friendly Cons: I can't eat there enough

i went there couple weeks ago. it was friday night. they were very busy but they were excellent. they had great and fresh sushi and they had great customer service. they treated us as VIP. my friends and i were very satisfied. they had the best services and food. also they gave us free desert- deep fried bananas. it was fantastic!! i'll never forget them and i'll go there again.

I was very disgusted when I found a toothpick in my bento box. I was there on Friday evening few weeks ago with my friends. The tables were dirty, the soy sauce bottles were very sticky and worst of all, the waitresses were very noisy. They were constantly yelling and screming at each other in their language and that made us feel VERY uncomfortable. The food was pretty good though but I wouldn't recommend that place. Midori Sushi in Fair Oaks in the best sushi in town. My wife and I have tried other places and we always come back to Midori. The service in unparalleled, and the fish is exceptionally fresh. Also something else unique to Midori is they don't over sauce their sushi like some other more popular ,trendy places on the list. I would strongly and highly recommend Midori to the most discerning sushi critic.
