I've been eating here since it was Chicken Delight. The name has changed, but the food is still the same. This is the best fried chicken in all of jersey and I'm not kidding. They offer great combo deals for decent prices, and while everything is tasty, the chicken will keep you coming back.

Sima has a Kosher Moroccan Deli. I love the Hummus with Falafel balls. My co-workers love the Sabich. I've also had the Cigars - a fired cruncy dough filled with spicy beef. Her food is delicius but spicy. Also, the hummus is super garlicky. But you can't taste the garlic when eating it. Afterwards, it lingers no matter how many pieces of breath freshening gum. But it's worth it! She doesn't deliver and has a few tables for sitting. She is Kosher, so sometimes she may not be in when you're in the mood for Moroccan.

The food here is unbelievable especially the penne with vodka sauce. The service is so quick, and the staff is friendly as can be. The environment is very cozy. Also, the setting is so dynamic that you can go here on a date or even with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this amazing North Jersey Italian restaurant.

Stuck in between all those shops on River Road is a surprisingly, pleasant, tasty yet healthy deli named Giovanni's Deli. With all sorts of wraps and sandwiches, Giovanni’s Deli offers a wide selection of meats that your butcher shop would stock. I recently had Giovanni’s cater a party at my home; I had never had so many people compliment me on the food!

This place is outstanding - the young and personable chef/owner has a deft hand at just about anything that he puts out. The homemade raviolis are my favorite, and the braised meats, risottos, and polenta preparations are second to none.
Pros: great food, beautiful dining room, inexpensive
Cons: loud

I am extremely picky about sushi and I have been to a TON of sushi restaurants, joints, expoensive, trendy, whatever you can think of. MEI is absolutely amazing, The service is prompt, friendly and courteous. The sushi is spectacular. Fish, and even chicken always tastes so fresh and delicious. EVerything is cooked to perfection. There is NEVER too much rice, it is just so amazingly perfect, I have never experienced anything like it. BYOB, they do have sake, it is a smaller place, and WELL worth it. I would recommend this both for friends and lovers, and YOU MUST TRY THE PINK LADY ROLL. Absolutely delicious.
Pros: PINKLADY ROLL
Cons: small, cant get a booth

Dined at Oceanos for Mother's Day. The cuisine is Seafood/Mediterranean. What a feast! The service..outstanding! Pricey? Looking at the menu, we had a slight case of sticker shock, but once you factor in portion sizes, the prices are not so bad. You get a lot of food for your money. Soooo worth it! We were a party of 3. We ordered alcohol (1 drink ea), 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, 2 desserts and 1 coffee, 1 tea and 1 specialty coffee. The total came to about $180, +tip.
The restaurant is located in a residential area. Valet parking service (that's the norm on weekends). Restaurant is dimly lit. Check in with the maitre d'. Main room is to the left and extends into a smaller, more narrow back room and then there's another dining room to the right of the maitre d'. The room to the right appeared to be a little more brightly lit. The room had more windows or it was a smaller room so the daylight filled the room more. Reservations recommended, but you can also walk in. I made my reservation through Open Table.
So, this meal was out with my family, a small party of 3. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than our reservation. Not a problem, we were seated right away. Restaurant was super busy for Mother's Day. We were seated in the smaller, more narrow room in back. Which was fine with us. It was a little bit quieter than the main room. Plus, the main room was crowded in the sense that there wasn't much room between tables. From start to finish, the wait staff was very attentive, checking on us often to see if we needed anything. They were not overly attentive. They didn't give us that feeling of being rushed like some restaurants can be when they are busy. Our waiter, Walter, was good with making recommendations and answering any questions we had about the menu. The delivery of food, with regards to timing, was also very good. There was a slight lull between entree and
