Given a choice, I would choose Rawley's.
Super Duper Weenie has a great menu, but the food just doesn't deliver. The hot dogs seem over priced and cater to a crowd that just doesn't know any better.
I wouldn't eat the dogs when Super Duper Weenie was a chow truck on the side of the road, and I'm still tempted to not stop.

This place has got to be one of the "must-visits" for Connecticut. Located off I-95, this hot dog shack is terrific.
The owner still cooks there (he's the guy in the bandana) and cooks a great hot dog. He has a bunch of different varieties and they all have different names (Chicagoan, Californian, New Englander) and have ingredients like celery salt, onion sauce, sliced tomato, lettuce, etc. Each dog has a different personality. Some have a sweet sauce, some have a hotter sauce.
The french fries are out of this world. A small order is HUGE and a large order is VERY BIG.
Each hot dog is about $2.25 and the fries are roughly the same price. They have cold soda (bottled) and iced tea. Parking can be cramped, but you can park across the street too.
I've been to this place time and time again, and these guys are the best. Simply a no-frills hot dog restaurant with good food and nothing else!
