It is amazing that reviews dating back to 2009 reveal the same experiences I have endured in 2011 / 2012. This woman is not patient friendly! She is rude, egotistical, and a discredit to her profession. She is reckless with the wanton ease at which she give major medications, including narcotics. She does not listen to the patient, regardless to how prepared and succinct you are in relaying symptoms and status. To add insult to injury, there is no respect for time as it is typical to wait over an hour. Mind you, this is not due to the excellent care she provides, but the greed of double and triple booking! She proudly displays her Washingtonian Top Doc designations, but keep in mind these are PEER-to-PEER ratings, not patient based. It is already hard to dealing with debilitating health concerns, one should not have to be subjected additional angst from the person entrusted to provide care and at a minimum to "do no harm".

Dr Gradzka managed my arthritic knee pain enabling me to avoid a knee replacement for several years (Drs don't like to do them if you are under 50yrs). She always had still one more trick up her sleeve to help me minimize pain. And when she felt she'd done all she could do she sent me for the knee replacement...but I must tell you, she worked miracles.

I recently had a relapse of severe pain due to my RA and Dr. Gradzka's staff arranged for me to see her the next day after my phone call. She was very attentive to my explanation of possible causes and then prescribed the proper increase in one of my medications that provided pain relief that has now lasted for the past two months so far.

this doctor is unkind, egotistical and disrespectful. i went to her for help with severe, debilitating "fibromyalgia" symptoms. she just increased drugs, then took me off of everything, cold turkey, and blamed me for the detox, additional symptoms, then made judgements about my character. it turns out that i had a very advanced case of lyme, which it did not even occur to her. i had the blood work done elsewhere and healed the natural way. be an educated patient who advocates for yourself and you will never need to depend upon doctors like this one. sorry to say that she represents what is wrong with allopathic medicine today. no respect for the patient, whatsoever.

Dr. Gradzka is a very nice lady. She was very helpful with the issues I was having with my knees and ankles. I ended up having to get orthodics which helped the pain that I was receiving in my ankles. Besides being very nice and very knowledgable regarding my issues, the wait to actually get into her office was horrible. I would recommend that you definitely bring something to read. I believe I had an appointment at 1:00 and didn't get to see the doctor till about 2:30. If you are willing to wait I guarantee that you will be happy with the service. Just a long wait.....
