Valley 6 (now 5) is better 8/3/2007

Living closer to Puget Park Drive In than to Valley Drive In in Auburn, we routinely choose to go to Valley Drive In over Puget Park. Puget Park's prices have gone way up, such that it costs me $29 to take the whole family to Puget Park (six of us), or $18 to go to Valley Drive In. Even factoring in additional gas, it's a no-brainer. Valley Drive In is also in much better shape that Puget Park -- a comparison of the bathrooms alone should be enough to sway folks, because Valley Drive In's bathrooms and other facilities are very clean. Valley Drive In also has five screens (the sixth was closed down for some reason) to Puget Park's single screen, providing far greater variety. If you live in Everett or further north, Puget Park is a decent trip down nostalgia lane. If you live anywhere south of there, however, make the trip down 167 to Auburn and Valley Drive In instead. more

Puget Park Drive-In 7/5/2006

My daughter and I love to go to the drive-in on warm summer nights! It's a great bargain and you get to watch two movies for less than what you would pay for at the movie theater. You have to bring the pillows and blankets to snuggle up in while you are watching the movies. I do agree that it is a little run down. Since, I think, it is one of the only drive-ins in this area I wish they would make it a little nicer. Perk it up a bit! And I wish they would change the movies a little more often, although I haven't gone this year so maybe they are changing them quicker. But overall I recommend it! more

Such fun for the family! 4/5/2006

One of the last true drive-ins around, this place is great! You can bring your own food without smuggling it in, or you can buy popcorn, soda and candy at the concession stand. We back our van into one of the spots and open the back, so we can all lay down in the trunk space with tons of blankets and pillows while we watch the movie. We usually bring the kids in their jammies - they love it! more

Summer fun 9/7/2005

Going to the drive in is one of my favorite summertime activities. You get to see two movies for only $7. They also let you bring in your own food. We love to pack a cooler full of soda and movie candy plus a bag of microwave popcorn. Of course if you prefer to buy food there they have a fully stocked snack bar with popcorn and ice cream. The downside is although the drive in is fun, the facilities is very run down. The restrooms and snack bar area are very dirty and the parking lot itself is also not well kept. However, these points will not keep me away. more

Cheap family fun! 7/30/2005

Nothing like traveling back in time for a long double feature! This safe, fun environment is great for the whole family. For $11, I can take myself and my two kids to see two great first-run movies. Bring your own popcorn and drinks or buy from their great concession stand. Open seven days a week during the summer, this is a great way to spend an evening! more
