Have a craving for ice cream? This will nip your sweet tooth. You pick an ice cream flavor and then any ‘mix in’ you like. I recommend cake batter ice cream with m&ms and Reese’s peanut butter cups. The servings are huge and it is expensive. $5 for a cup of ice cream!? But it is worth every penny and calorie! I do have to say I will always favor the original creator of the idea. The Mix in the U-district and Greenlake has been around since the 70s (though it has had many names over the years). Be sure to check it out if you are in the area.

By now everyone knows the concept of cold stone - you choose your ice cream and then you choose your additions and they fold them into your ice cream on a marble slab, the "cold stone". It's true - the ice cream is very good and it's fun to choose your own things to add, but it's really expensive - overpriced, in my opinion. You're paying for the gimmick.
