I've attended the Hult Center on so many occassions. They specialize in live theater events like ballet and musicals. They also have a large lobby which is used each year for Chef's Night Out, a charity event that offers food from restaurants around town. The Hult is known for its high class of attendants and events. It is located right downtown next to the Hilton. They have 1 large concert hall, the Silva, and 1 smaller hall. It is definitely a must-see if you visit Eugene.

Actors Cabaret has two theatres located right on the downtown mall in Eugene's city center. In addition to live performances year round, on almost every weekend, they offer drama instruction at the ACE Youth Academy.
In operation since 1979, ACE has premiered original new plays and musicals, and also offers well recognized fare such as Guys & Dolls, Sweeney Todd and Hair. If they are showing Rocky Horror Picture Show you really shouldn't miss it!
Most Friday and Saturday nights dinner is available in a package with your ticket to the Cabaret. Most weekends a Sunday brunch is also available in the same package. Beer, wine and other non-alcoholic beverages are available. If you order dessert before the show, you'll be served at intermission.
I can't say enough good things about this place - the casts and crews are volunteers, and many have spent more than 30 years supporting community theatre and encouraging others in the arts. It's a worthy non-profit.

From theater to theatre, McDonald’s was once Eugene’s only movie theater. However, its new function suits itself very well because of the venue and the location. Over the past couple of years, McDonald’s has wheeled in some impressive names from musicians to speakers. McDonald’s brings class and funk to a growing downtown

I have seen two shows at the VLT and feel like I have seen it all. The performances are overpopulated with older folks (which is not a bad thing, but indicates the demographic their humor is geared towards). The theatre architecture itself is beautiful, with high beams. Unfortunately, I found myself staring at the beautiful ceilings too much during the play.
