This is a great Italian place. There is usually a long wait and they don't take reservations so come early. The regular calzone is by far the best thing on the menu. It doesn't taste like your average calzone, more like an Italian pizza pie. They make their own dough for the calzones and their delicious hard rolls.

Papas has been around since I was a kid... the playgrounds are a fun place for kids to play while the adults eat their pizza and chat. The pizza is totally worth spending the extra dollar, it has the best crust ever. The salad bar is great too!
By far our favorite friday night hang out.

This is easily the best pizza I have ever eaten. My favorite is their barbecue chicken pizza, and my close second is pepperoni with black olives. If I am not mistaken, they make their crust with a beer recipe and it is delicious. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they are not nationwide. I moved from Oregon to the East coast, and there isn't a pizza place that can match them. Please Papa's Pizza please consider a store in Ohio.
Pros: Delicious pizza, play area for the kids
Cons: Only located on the West Coast, they need one in Ohio.

Track Town has been around since 1978, and you'll probably hear discussions about whicih is better: the Franklin Blvd or the River Road location. I've only had pizza from Franklin Blvd, but understand the original owners operate River Road. So it should be a no-brainer...this is good stuff!
The crust is excellent, and they do offer a whole wheat alternative that is fabulous too. Toppings run from plain old cheese to exotics. Try the BBQ chicken, and you'll never turn back. Feta, artichoke and roasted peppers is darn good too. Really great sausage, pepperoni cooked up crisp, nice fresh veggies...they even have soy cheese and low-fat cheese options! Friends have even been able to buy uncooked pizza shells, so if you have a yen to make your own at home, this might be something to consider.
Love the delivery service, too. Once you're in their system, they remember what you like and can help remind you if you've forgotten that the special kind your partner craves is called the Heptathlon. That's not just a track & field event, but Track Town's super deluxe combo with all sorts of meat on it.
Pizza here is pricey, but you're going to feel better eating it than some of the cardboard bottom stuff that they advertise with hangers on your front door. Watch the paper and entertainment guides for coupons, because they sometimes have great special prices. If you are a student (or know a student...), check to see if you are able to order your pizza with a student discount. Rumor has it that students can get as much as $6 off of some buys.

We love this place! Great food, fast service, convenient location, what more could you want? The atmosphere is nice and it always very clean. Our business orders delivery several times a month from here, and they always prompt and we have never had a problem with an order. It is a little spendy for lunch, but still good.

Bazookie your brians out since thats the one thing that is good here. Okay, the pizza is decent as is the pasta dishes. But no group outing or date night should be here without ordering one of these artery clogging desserts. Make sure you have reservations because after 7PM on a weekend, its a longggg wait.
Pros: Bazookie, Pizzas
Cons: Service, Value

Izzy's has come and gone and come back to Eugene. The new location at 950 Seneca is the best one I've tried over the years.
A fully stocked, fantastic salad bar is just the start. Izzy's includes all sorts of veggies and fruits, as well as some specialty salads that make seasonal appearances. The salad bar includes potato and three bean salads, cottage cheese, and puddings.
Pizza is Izzy's core competency, and they offer a selection as part of the buffet. Samplings range from standard pepperoni and cheese to a pesto, feta and artichoke combo.
The Classic Buffet includes hot items like soup, garlic mashed potatoes, spaghetti, fried or baked chicken and macaroni and cheese. Personal recommendations: the sauteed green beans with sweet red pepper strips and the cheese garlic bread.
When you are ready to waddle over to the dessert bar, don't miss the cinnamon rolls. If you like bread pudding you may like Izzy's recipe, and you can top it with self-serve soft ice cream. They also feature marionberry cobbler, brownies, and assorted cookies. Kids of all ages can make their own ice cream cones (vanilla or chocolate) -- and they also provide chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce if you want a little sundae.
Dinner selections are slightly expanded and include seafood, steak or prime rib nights.
They do offer semi-private rooms for groups, and also have catering services. Lunch runs between $7 and $10 per adult. Take out is available.
