I have always liked Paper Traders for their selection of cards, rubber stamps, and craft items. They always have cute handmade cards you can't find in the chain stores. Located in 5th Street Market, it is a good shopping location. They have odds and ends like joke books, journals and uplifting items to place around your house. My teachers in high school used to go there to buy little stickers and rubber stamps when they graded papers. It's a nice, quaint store.

I can't say enough good things about Shamrock. The store is great and their floral department is the best in Oregon! Scott is amazing and can create anything. They are very detail oriented and Scott is able to take your vision and make it happen with flowers. If you are getting married there is no one else you should use! If you just need a pretty bunch of flowers for your mom, this is the place. I know I sound like a TV ad but seriously these people are the best. They are fun, friendly and know so much. I am using them for my wedding and have used this store for many other things. They may be a little pricier than Costco or some Joe Schmo florist, but if you spend money anywhere in your wedding make it here, you will love the results!

Lunar Dust is a very unique and exciting boutique. Their clothing is comfortable, beautiful and made of natural fibre. My visits have been most enjoyable. I find value in their products; which are mostly one-of-a-kind, an important construct.

Hiron's is a real Eugene conversation piece. The stores are packed with thousands of items, floor to ceiling (no kidding, here!)
The 18th Avenue location (next to Safeway) is a treasure trove of ornaments, stickers, gift items and all the usual drug store paraphernalia. If you need Tums or tampons, they've got those -- along with toothpaste and candy and bandaids. There's even a drive-through perscription pick-up area. The second store, on Franklin Blvd (near the UofO and next to PC Market of Choice) is more organized, but probably has just as many items.
The holiday season is thrilling at Hirons -- try to go several times, and especially check the after holiday sales. They carry varied and unusual items to trim a Christmas tree or toast in the New Year. Lots of affordable stocking stuffers along with some spendy gifts to exchange. In recent years, there are dozens of Halloween decorations for sale, and they keep things really fresh throughout the year. This is a great spot to check for birthday gifts for co-workers and friends.
Look for their hidden away "clearance" areas. These are great for bargain shoppers -- but check the condition before you buy. And, being close to UofO, there are generally lots of "Go Ducks" items.
Good spot for calendars & cards -- they also have fun bath stuff. The jewelry selection at 18th can be a nice surprize -- sometimes there are really wonderful, affordable things on display.

While Reed and Cross can be on the pricey side of things, that doesn't make their things any less beautiful. I just love walking through the doors and looking through all the wonderous things. I don't know much about their bridal section, though the florists are WONDERFUL. Everytime I have ordered or recieved flowers from them, they have been arranged wonderfully, amazingly fresh and just all around georgous. This is a must stop on the stopping loops in Eugene.

We go there frequently for our partiy needs. They have everything from decorations to supplies. We have purchased balloon bouquets there on many occasions. They also have a lot of items for party rentals, some of which we did for our wedding. The location is great with tons of customer parking.

I purchased my wedding dress from Reed and Cross and couldn't be happier! The service is great here and the selection was awesome. My dress arrived on time and they did a great job with the alterations. They are a little on the spendy side, but I think it was worth it.

The selection of cards in this store is huge. There are literally walls and walls of them. They have a good selection of blank cards if you want to write your own. What makes this store fun is their collection of little toys and novelty items that make inexpensive gifts. They also sell stationery and some home decorating items. A fun place to browse.
