Sigh, I love the Pearl Day Spa. It's very Eugene-y in that it's located in a converted house, has marmoleum (environmentally-friendly!) flooring, funky waiting room seating, and it just feels sort of earthy and natural. However, they've not traded professionalism for this earthy vibe. The staff is very knowledgeable and more-than-competent. If you've wanted to try out something new, like a body wrap or hot stone massage, but feel a little intimidated in a trendier and slick spa, this might be a good fit for you.

For my birthday this year my husband gave me a 'day at the spa' and it was fantastic. I had a massage, a facial, lunch and a pedicure/manicure. The Pearl is a pearl - they are lovely people in a peaceful atmostphere. Everyone did a great job and I came away feeling rested and relaxed. I highly reccomend it.
