Heartland is the absolute worst place you could ever buy or think of buying a dog. They get their dogs from puppymills which are cruel breeding places for dogs just to make money. NO responsible breeder would ever sell their do there. If you bought that dog you could pass deadly diseases to your pets or neighborhood pets. They also have a good chance of dying at a young age. They almost always have expensive vet bill or bad behavior. Don't ever buy from pet store. I am from erie and will never buy anything from there not even a dog toy. It is worth the trip just to walk in and smell the baked goods and deli food. I actually have to purchase the pepperoni and cheese bread and ship it to Washington to my nephew. He can live without everything else but Arnone's p/c bread. I also really enjoy the pizelles they sell. It is a real authentic Italian store carrying even Italian pottery and cookware.

If you can't find what you are looking for anywhere, you will find it at the Erie Book Store. Great place to spend an afternoon and browse. You will keep going back! It is very casual and very friendly. The staff is very knowledgeable. It kind of reminds you of the movie "You've Got Mail" and the bookstore in the movie. It's small and doesn't have that huge bookstore experience. It's cozy and fun.

We had Alan for our wedding this summer and he is fantastic! He is very professional and does a great job of adjusting to the constant changes of the day and offers great suggestions for pictures. And his images are beautiful... still getting compliments on them.

If you need something to be repaired they can usually do it right on the premises. They have a nice selection of items, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very knowledgeable also. Erie has a few chocolatiers, but I believe that Pulakos is the best. Their chocolate is so decadent and modestly priced to fit your budget. Their many conveniently located stores have a wide variety of chocolate products to appeal to anyone, whether for yourself or as a gift. Their chocolate covered strawberries are to die for!

My first experience with Allburn Florist was purchasing a casket spray for my mother's funeral. The woman taking my order in person helped me a great deal when I told her I wanted it to be soft and lovely. I couldn't believe how wonderful it turned out, and we got so many visitors commenting the same about it. The service before and the end product was enough for me to recommend them to any who asks me.

Excellent baked goods with everything from pies to cakes to cookies they offer a ton of various typical baked goods that other bakeries may offer but they also offer some Italian baked goods that can't be beat. You will fall in love with their cannolis and their fresh baked Italian bread. Slices of pizza can be bought on certain days and pepperoni balls are always plentiful.
Priced fair. Great food. Awesome memories!
