How can you not love the atmosphere alone of Sara's?! You step back into time at a 50's sock hop, with old fashioned coke machines serving as tables outside, old cars and neon signs. Fast and friendly service galore is a welcome sign for any visitors to Presque Isle Park.
They have coupons in the paper and many mail outs so be sure to check for them before you go! They make the footlong meal sooooo affordable!
Foot long hot dogs, regular dogs, soda, fries, chicken sandwiches and more dress up the 50's style menu at fair prices. Top it all off with just about any ice cream delight you can think of, including milkshakes, malts, dipped cones, banana splits and my favorite orange sherbet!
A must stop for the locals and a not to well kept secret for the visitors. Sometimes we can't keep the good things to ourselves!

A neat 50's era looking seasonal fast food restaurant with even the old kitchen type chairs inside. Fifties music playing in the background inside and out. Old time classic cars abound outside. Even the order counter is half of a classic Chevy. The menu is sandwich fair, but excellent tasting. And the price is right. Full menu ice cream items are also available if you can fit them in after burgers, foot long hot dogs, and pizza. Two awning covered patios outside to handle the excess crowds in the summer. Good food and good times.

Sara's reminds me a lot of the diner from Happy Days. It's a total throwback to the 1950s, where you can get a chocolate malt and a juicy burger before hitting the beaches of Presque Isle. They've also got a bicycle rental shop adjacent to Sara's, so this is a good "stop here first" location. Food is generally more expensive than McDonald's, but it's reasonable for vacation fare. I love their fries and sundaes!
