Burhenn's Pharmacy has remained a family owned business since the day it started. With fast and friendly service you can always rely on them. Delivery is available for when you simply cannot get out or for those who don't have the means to get out. Prices are completely reasonable and compare well to other chain pharmacies in the area.
If you have a question you can be assured that one of the Burhenn's will know the answer or find the answer for you.
I have never had a bad experience with them and think they truly do resemble the epitome of the corner pharmacy that so many of us grew up with.
Shouldn't your pharmacist know you and your family by name and not by your customer number?

Burhenn's is a smaller pharmacy that offers some of the best customer service you will ever get. Small enough to be cordial and know you by name quickly, yet large enough to offer reasonable prices.
This is a family owned business and they have pride in posting their name on the front sign.
Recently moved down the road from their original little store at the corner of 38th & Pine, they built a more modern and much nicer looking place to do business in.
Delivery is available and they are always ready to help. Nice later hours, something unexpected from a non-chain pharmacy, and they know their business.

Dr. Heaney has a very outgoing personality and most of all, I love the way he works with children. Unfortunately accidents and such will make a child need this type of work necessary and Dr. Heaney is a wonderful choice. Being one of very few choices in the city, I really do think he is the best. His work is above and beyond perfection with excellent results. His office staff is truly very accomodating and well trained.
My only complaint is that you never get right in and out. It's rare that you are seen when your appointment is and there have even been times when we have waited, literally hours. Of course they gave you the option to come back but if you're already there it's kind of a put out. I believe this untimely fashion stems from him being called upon often in the E.R.'s locally for accident victims, etc. but as a regular patient it can be frustrating.
I still highly recommend him for his talents, his personality and most of all his wonderful way with children.

Lake Erie Lodge in Erie, Pennsylvania is a great place to stay. With a pristine pool, very clean rooms, and a rustic feel, you'll fall in love with this great place to stay. The rooms all have a rustic "cabin-y" sort of feel that you will like. The motel is very close to Lake Erie and is a fun place to stay at. The pool which is always well chlorinated, clean, and heated is great for a somewhat colder summer day or night. You will get to know the owners which are very friendly and will definitely enjoy your visit if you stay here.

While the doctors in this office seem very reputable and highly commendable, the office seems to run on 2 settings.. slow and slower.
We've rarely gone in there where we are seen on time. One occasion we even waited over an hour! Totally unacceptable for an office call. If the patient were to go there an hour after the scheduled visit they'd be turned down in a millisecond! What makes it any different when the doctor does the same?! I've witnessed this often and seen many people get up and walk out.
That being said, I will comment that they are a good group of physicians. They know their stuff and are great with kids.

Dr. Hulse is a caring chiropractor who wants you to get better, not wants to get rich. I used his services after an automobile accident. I found him to be very gentle with my tender neck! He can take any x-rays he needs there and his office hours are such that you can get in after work (or even on Saturday mornings) if you need something not during normal banker's hours.

This office was very easy to schedule with, be it a sick visit where you need to get in today or if you needed to make an appointment further in advance. They re-vamped their office such that each doctor had a team of people who were dedicated to them and their patients. If you called, you got a team member, not someone who's job it was to answer the phone and relay messages all day.

They do not care about you as a patient, only that your insurance will pay their outlandish bills. When they make a mistake they keep it out of the paper through payoffs. I feel that they give other institutions of Medicine a bad name, as well as physicians. They hire some of the worst trained physicians I have ever encountered and allow them to continue to practice when they do things like remove the wrong leg, or overdose someone on Anesthesia.
I think it is a sad state of affairs when the $$ is more important than the patient.
They should close their doors.
Don't go there if you want to live! I would not send my worst enemy there.
