It is worth the trip just to walk in and smell the baked goods and deli food. I actually have to purchase the pepperoni and cheese bread and ship it to Washington to my nephew. He can live without everything else but Arnone's p/c bread. I also really enjoy the pizelles they sell. It is a real authentic Italian store carrying even Italian pottery and cookware.

Erie has a few chocolatiers, but I believe that Pulakos is the best. Their chocolate is so decadent and modestly priced to fit your budget. Their many conveniently located stores have a wide variety of chocolate products to appeal to anyone, whether for yourself or as a gift. Their chocolate covered strawberries are to die for!

Of all the chocolate makers in Erie, Stefanelli's is the best. Their chocolate is so smooth and not at all waxy. I love going there, especially at Easter Time. It's not Easter without Stefanelli's. If you are a chocoholic like my entire family is, Stefanelli's is for you.

This store is wonderful! There is ample parking and is in a central location. The store is set up very easy to locate what you want and it's a fun store to be in! They have everything you could want for bridal showers, wedding receptions, invitations, etc. The prices are reasonable and they are always having sales!

While I truly miss their huge old antique victorian store front... they still offer the wonderful treats and ideas they have always been known for. They offer gourmet treats and exclusive items that they just have a knack for preparing and creating for those you care about. This is a wonderful place to go to for people you just aren't quite sure about what to get. Prices are very reasonable, delivery is an option also. Give them a call and let them know what the person you are buying for enjoys and see what they come up with!
My personal favorites are the tea and coffee baskets they create. Nothing ordinary comes out of here!
PROS: great variety, creative, one of a kind gifts, reasonable
CONS: no more victorian store front but we can live with that

This isn't a plain ol' flower shop... no way sister! This place is stocked to the brim with every neat little diddy you can think of! I love going here and just looking around. Their style is often very unique and they really do well with a Victorian theme!!! I've seen some great things come out of this little shop that is tucked into a small plaza on West 38th Street. You can call in and simply tell them what you want, what the receiver enjoys, etc. and be assured that they will come up with something for them that will make them smile!
I love the odds and ends about the shop too and to be honest... I try to go there to shop because I always want to see what's new!
