This is a really nice place to receive flowers from. The people who run the shop are so nice to talk and helpful. The arrangements are all tastefully done and designed. I recommend it for gifts and wedding packages.
I've tried several local florists some are inconsistent but Allburns has remained top quality.

This isn't a plain ol' flower shop... no way sister! This place is stocked to the brim with every neat little diddy you can think of! I love going here and just looking around. Their style is often very unique and they really do well with a Victorian theme!!! I've seen some great things come out of this little shop that is tucked into a small plaza on West 38th Street. You can call in and simply tell them what you want, what the receiver enjoys, etc. and be assured that they will come up with something for them that will make them smile!
I love the odds and ends about the shop too and to be honest... I try to go there to shop because I always want to see what's new!
Great place!

While I'm not crazy about the market itself, they can sometimes run some good ads. I like that they're open 24 hours but can honestly say I'm not overly impressed with much else.
The store tends to be dirty looking and just simply not appealing to the eye. The clerks are very hit and miss as to whether or not you find one with a smile. Not very quick to help you out or give you information and definitely won't walk you to the product. They point and walk away.
Their bakery is not very good at all. I have tried various items out of it and nothing stands out as great. The meat department is ok but I think somewhat overpriced. I generally will buy what's on sale if I'm there and it's a great price.
Basically there's nothing stand out about the shopping experience here. I can't really say much more than that. It's a grocery store, not exceptional, not great, just there. Their gas prices are usually pretty good though!

Rose Floral is near my home and is very convenient. I had to get a teacher some flowers at the end of the school year and I went there to get some cut stems. Their flowers are beautiful, but for some reason, that day, they did not have much of a selection. I wanted specific flowers and the ones I had to choose from (Gerber Daisies) were not in great condition. That is the only time I had a problem. Also, a little pricey.
