I think the Thrifty Shopper is too overpriced for used. As mentioned by others regarding this business, you can find better, more reasonable items at Gabes or VC Boutique (Value City) that are new for a few cents more or even the same price! While the idea behind the Thrifty Shopper is wonderful, to help those in need, I think it simply out prices itself. The clothes are often of very poor quality. The electronic items often don't even work. The dishware is often chipped and not of the best quality yet still priced nearly as much as new. Personally, I think we have better used stores around town and much better new stores with fair prices!

Thrifty shopper is located in downtown Erie on State St. They just moved locations. It is an okay shop, you would be better off going to Gabe's or Value City and spending a few buck extra for brand new clothes. Decent selection but if you are young and in style you'd better shop elsewhere. Good for browsing on a rainy day. Like an indoor yard sale.
