The best food in the valley, and this little gem is the best kept secret in Los Angeles. Quality food, great service and a charming owner. This is also a low key hot spot for celebrities. Romantic and at the same time great place to bring the kids.

What is there not to like about their chicken. It is THE BEST FRIED (broasted) CHICKEN in CALIFORNIA. First, let me explain what broasted means. It means that it was cooked (fried) in a pressurized cooker for maximum flavor. It has to be most flavorful chicken that you will ever taste. It is fried, but never dry. It is tender and juicy 100% of the time due to pressurized cooking. Now you may ask how I know so much about their cooking method. You may think that I own the place and am looking for free publicity. Wrong. I used to work at Ambers Chicken in Grananda Hills 25 years ago. And I swear it on a stack of bible that the taste hasn't changed abit. My job recently relocated me to Encino. We cater in lunches every weekend. I was told by one of my co-worker that I was about to taste the best chicken in the world. Long story short, when I found out that we catered from Ambers I just about flipped out. I didn't know that they still had the Encino store open. One in Granada Hills has been closed for a long time. Anyways, if you are a fan of fried chicken, you must try Ambers. You will never be disappointed. Just remember that they do not cook their chicken until you order it, so the smart ones like myself always call in my order in advance so by the time I get there I can just pick up my order and be on my way to enjoy the best tasting chicken I've ever tasted. I usually have couple pieces while I am driving because the aroma will drive you crazy. I wish I can give you another place that I can compare it to, but there are none. Ambers is the BEST. JC
Pros: Great taste everytime.
Cons: Compared to other chicken places, it is bit more pricier. Keep in mind, you get what you paid for.

The chicken that I had in all the entrees was more tender than any Ive ever had. I especially enjoy the Wor Wonton soup. Even that chicken is soft and not boiled like some others out there. The delivery guys was here in 45 minutes the other night and Ive been having consistently good quality for 3 years now.

I love Dr. Reifman. I moved to another part of the state and can't go to see him anymore, which is sad. I actually found his staff to be wonderful and warm people, helpful and kind. I like that he doesn't use mercury in his fillings, plus he's one smart dude.

Eric has done my and my partners' taxes for five years. He is level headed, fair, and more than a great accountant - we have come to think of him as a mentor on other important life decisions as well including bringing in new partners, estate planning, investments, and retirement. I recommend him highly to anyone who wants an accountant that REALLY knows what they are doing.

About @ the last week of August my family and I were here @ Tony Roma's. The seating was prompt as well as the service. The food was awesome. I had the grilled chicken salad. that was really good. I liked how it was prepared. When my kids are with my husband & I , I'll taste test their food. My daughter had the santa fe chipotle salad. that was also good. My son had the chicken alfredo and that I'll tell you was better than the shrimp alfredo he had from johnnie's new york pizzeria. My husband had the combo plate which he thought was excellent. Here at Tony Roma's, the service was good the food was good the ambience was good..... everything was good. I rate this restaurant more than five stars. IT'S A 10.
Pros: 2 THUMBS UP.

I had ordered a selection of platters for a Super Bowl Party. The platters were ready on time, a very nice presentation and most importantly, the food was fresh and outstanding. I had been to this restaurant many times before and knew that their salads, pastas, hamburgers and combinations were great choices. Now, I will only go here for my catering and not to those "famous" overpriced delis.
Pros: Fresh & Tasty food. You can eat in or take out without breaking the bank.
Cons: None

Go here hungry. They serve fresh carrot salad and various cabbage salads before the dinner. The entrees are large-- stuffed cabbage was tomato-y and savory, served with lentils and rice and israeli salad. The salads are really filling-- cucumber, tomato, very light lemon vinaigrette dressing. I am always so stuffed, I never even get to dessert. i feel as if i am having shabbat with a real Israeli family. LOVE IT. a tip: go there dressed well. my boyfriend and i went after mountain biking once, and felt like we degraded the place. nevertheless, it's the best place to go after working out and long as you look sharp.
Pros: Fresh veggie appetizers, large entrees, parking available
Cons: Not as casual as you'd expect

Everybody I dealt with was excellent from the lady on the phone who set up the time to the movers who did the job to the thank you letter sent afterward. Micah, the crew leader had great organizational skills. He and his crew exceeded all aspects of the move.
