I am a daily Starbucks patron and have been to Starbucks in over 30 states...after two visits to this Starbucks it is apparent that "hustle" is not a name of the game. If the cashiers would spend less time slacking, talking and gossiping, they wouldn't risk losing customers in the 20-deep line nor irritate patient customers who have to hear their inane gossip while both of them attend to the food in the microwave, which obviously requires the "talents" of just one barista. Come on!!! It is 8:30 a.m. on a weekday morning...business people want to get their items and get on their way. Step it up!
Pros: Good quality food and drink product, as always
Cons: Staff way to chit-chatty amongst themselves...don't plan on hustle or quick service at the busy rush hour time...slackers at the registers

You will leave feeling gorgeous, refreshed and rejuvenated! Tony has been my stylist for many, many years. I liked the old space on College, but this new space in Emeryville is perfection. So very relaxing. A full array of top knotch Aveda products are displayed in a spacious and lovely retail section.
Looking for a new salon? Look no further, this place is fabulous.
Tony an Guy are gracious and kind and I recommend their salon without reservation!

I love Rudy's so much. I always get their calamari, and their chili is so good as well. This place is a staple of the East Bay, and the atmosphere is great for the young rocker. Open late and pretty cheap beer!

Rudy's is fun at any age. One of a kind artistic tables and interesting art on the walls (and on the tattooed waitstaff) and indie rock on the sound system keeps the atmosphere creative and casual. Kids can color with crayons and order off a special kids menu. Diner-chic menu includes gourmet salads, burgers, sandwiches, award-winning french fries, as well as beer and wine. Rudy's has outdoor seating, happy hour specials and is open until 1am on friday and saturday nights. Keep in mind that the brunch lines are way too long, so it's much better to check this spot out for weekday lunch or dinner any night.
