I like the four (or is it five?) cheese mac'n'cheese, and I am impressed by the level of insanity required to mix beer and chocolate milkshakes in one glass. I don't know what turns me off - the often slow and confused but friendly service? The crowds? Is it too expensive? I just don't feel the Rudy's love.

Rudy's is fun at any age. One of a kind artistic tables and interesting art on the walls (and on the tattooed waitstaff) and indie rock on the sound system keeps the atmosphere creative and casual. Kids can color with crayons and order off a special kids menu. Diner-chic menu includes gourmet salads, burgers, sandwiches, award-winning french fries, as well as beer and wine. Rudy's has outdoor seating, happy hour specials and is open until 1am on friday and saturday nights. Keep in mind that the brunch lines are way too long, so it's much better to check this spot out for weekday lunch or dinner any night.
