rides and games 10/23/2005

Western Playland is the local amusement park that has been around for over 45 years. They have roller coasters, water rides, kiddie rides and amusement rides. They have games you can play. Food and drink stands through out the park. They have a general admission pass and an unlimited ride pass. They are opened in the summer months in the evenings and on Sat. and Sun. at 2p.m. This is a great place for parties,company picnics and family fun. more

Absolutely Horrible 8/17/2005

Well this ain't no Six Flags but I guess it's all you can get in a small area like this. The rides are at best decent with no real thrill rides for grownups. The new drop zone ride is horrible...way to small to be scary. They will be building a new one in Sunland Park which should be bigger and better though. But if you need to take your kids somewhere then they won't know the difference if they have never been to a real amusement park. BTW don't come before 12 because they charge a park entrance fee just for parking...horrible. more
