I first ate at this diner midmorning after getting off of an all-night greyhound bus from New York City. It was like I had arrived in some kind of paradise where the food was good, inexpensive and plentiful, and all the people were all friendly. I was seriously in culture shock! The place was quite busy, but we were seated and served right away. My girlfriend and I giggled with glee over the fact that we could stuff ourselves on pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits, grits and the whole works for a mere pittance. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, but particularly to Northerners who want to experience Southern hospitality and good food. I can't wait to make another trip to Elizabeth City so that I can eat there again!

My family absolutely loves this restaurant. When our extended family comes for a visit, we take them to this nice little diner. They have tons of selections and some of the best food around. Thier menu has a wide rage of foods from burgers and fries to italian dishes. They have plenty of foods for the kids to choose from too! The location is right in the middle of town so it's a great all around place. The prices are great compared to all the food you get. My family has really enjoyed this resturant for 7 years!
