Have to agree with cheezeit....
I've been a customer for a year and have had only positive experiences at Karena's. I drive over an hour just to have Laura cut and color my hair because she's so talented and sweet. None of the salons in the Naperville area compare in customer service, as far as I'm concerned.
Pros: friendliness of staff, talent, value, never wait long

A few years ago, Gail Borden Library was your average library. The books that it held could probably be found at just about every other library around, and there was nothing special at all about the facilities.
That changed. Now, after being re-built across the street, Gail Borden Library truly is something special. Architecturally the building is splended, and the interior does not disappoint, either. The layout is great and well-organized. There is plenty of room for sitting and studying, for browsing aisles, for using computers.
The book selection is still comparable to other libraries, but that's alright--Elgin has a gem with this library, which truly brings a sense of magnificence to the city.

The food here is always wonderful! The service is great, the atmosphere is nice.. I could go on and on about Jimmy's! The prices are a little high, but the food is well worth every penny! You get a Very good sized portion with each meal! the desserts are great too! They have a great location, and are very easy to get to!

what i like most about al's is their bacon cheese burger. it comes with home made fries, and is so yummy. they also have good soups. and lastly they make an awesome Reuben sandwich. in the summer time you can sit on their patio and eat outside under the trees. al's is also famous for their ice cream dishes.

WOW! We visited Nick's Pizza & Pub over the holidays and the decorations were simply superb! We've never seen such huge snowflakes...with the fireplace in the center of the restaurant and all of the Christmas lights, we felt like we were right at home. When we left the restaurant it was already dark, and the outside of Niick's was also decorated. I think they leave their decorations up for one more week -- so hurry to check them out!
Pros: Love Nick's SERVICE!!!

Though perhaps a little on the difficult side to spot when casually looking for a place to eat, once found, Jurin Japaense Restaurant surely does not disappoint.
Featuring both a sushi bar and a dine-in area, there is a variety of food to chooes from at very reasonable prices. If dining in, hibachi chefs cook right at the table, providing you with not only delicious food, but an entertaining show, as well. The staff are all very friendly, and the environment is nice and warm.

if i was asked to rate this doc on a scale from 1 to 10 i would say 11!! i was a patient of dr loddings for a few years before i decided to give me self the best present of all- a beautiful smile that i could show off with confidence! I couldn't be happier with my smile!! it completely exceeded my expectations. the office is located in elgin and im not going to lie, i hate having to come to elgin (kind of a gross city). but the office is in a fine part and is totally worth the trip!! if you are looking for a great dentist to remake your smile or just a great overall dentist i would most def recommend dr. lodding !

Sunset Books is a small bookstore that can be described as quite cozy. The owner and workers are all extremely friendly and helpful, and considering the small size of the store, there is a relatively good collection of books that one can purchase. They sell used books, too, at discount prices, so if you have time to shift through the shelves of used books, you might be able to walk away with a great new read for a really low price.
