The definition of beauty: the combination of qualities that make something pleasing and impressive to look at, listen to, touch, smell, or taste really define this store. Festivities is all of this and more-really gorgeous pieces for indoors and outdoors, great gifts and a very special touch when choosing local artists. I love, love, love this store. Eco-friendly is a reality here and you can see from the thoughtful selections, it is not just a bandwagon they jumped on. The displays including thoughfully arranged rocks-yes rocks-are simple and stunning. The mother is a landscape architect and all of them must have the eye. Somebody else said they wanted to move in to Festivities, I just want them to move into my house.
The owners, mother and two daughter trio, are really friendly and accessible. They exude stylishness and accessibility and are very real. Nothing is overdone or over the top here-a melange of hip style, eco-perfect non strident design that is comfortable but not without attitude-simply what you want in your home. There are things you won't find elsewhere and it is the combination and presentation that you want to make your own. I will be shopping here a long time.

All the stores here are good,and also in an excellent location. Very well priced and organized. I am down here every weekend and a few days during the week. I would like to live and work down here. I like the atmosphere.

This review is to counter the one that said the food was mediocre and cafeteria-quality.
I took my visiting friend to the Cafe de Paris recently. At first, he was disappointed that the waitress did not understand him, when he ordered completely in French! But when his food arrived, he was in heaven.
I forgot to mention that my friend is 100% French. After our meal, he was so thilled that he insisted that we go back and congratulate the chef, which we did. They both had a wonderful time chatting in French, (finally.)
On our way home, my friend informed me that his meal was the BEST French food he had ever had -- better than the best restaurants in Paris (!!) At first, I though he was just exaggerating, but he kept going on and on, but I eventually believed him. I did enjoy my meal, by the way.
The music on guitar by Enrique was charming, and our server was sassy, and nice. Best of all, the $$ cost was reasonable. It is not the classiest atmosphere you've ever seen, but functional, clean and nice.
When my friend visits again, I will definitely be taking him back there.
I am taking my Mother there tomorrow for Mother's Day...
Pros: Good service, good service, good food

I love this store. I rotate my weekly shopping among three stores: Thriftway, Central Market and 99 Ranch. They each have their strong and weak points.
99 Ranch can be crowded and often has long lines at checkout. And they are limited on some things that we tend to take for granted - breads or cheese. And, as mentioned elsewhere, you want to sort through the produce carefully.
But if your like me, and want to add a lot of diversity to your dinners at a low price, this is *the* place to shop.
You can find spices you never heard of. Squid tubes for stuffing. Abalone-flavored ramen. Duck feet (I use them to make duck stock). Fresh seafood (some of it still swimming around). Thin sliced beef short-ribs. Bitter melon. Dozens of varieties of Kim Chee. Coconut vinegar. Durian. Garlic chives. Lime leaves.
I love to cook, and I love trying out new things. This place is paradise for someone like me.

You are on teams of 5, each in your own bumper car.
You get a JaiAlai-type handle to throw and catch a wiffle ball.
You shoot at a target.
You have lots of fun.
The Whirley handle is totally forgiving and it makes it easy to catch and throw the ball. Plus you get to hit people. A must do.
