This is a great place for a truly northwest dining experience. The service is great and the seafood is delicious. Anthonys is a local chain that does a great job staying popular. Our family has a tradition of enjoying our Christmas Eve dinner at Anthonys. We have many memories here and all include good food, atmosphere and service. You will usually need a reservation here.

It is located in the marina of downtown Edmonds. I've been there a few times, but can't really give it a fairly good ratings. The tables are tightly arranged. The wait staff is ok and not very personable. I've tried many different items on the menu, but only found that the fish tacos is the only item that is worth having again. For the price and expected service, this is not a 4 or 5 star rating restaurant.

I really wanted to like this place. After all, the location is fabulous, right by the Edmonds Marina with breathtaking views of the water and mountains, next to the fishermen's dock. Edmonds needs a good fish and seafood restaurant, unfortunately, this isn't it.
The ambiance is just sad with wax tablecloth, patio-like chairs and tables, and poor light. And waiters really don't seem all that eager to please.
All of this would probably still warrant an okay rating, if it weren't for the quality of the food. In three separate visits -- I really wanted to give them another chance, twice! --, I reluctantly ate just enough to satisfy my immediate appetite and left the rest. It's grease fest galore, with bland seasoning and little creativity. Prices are about average, but too high for what you're getting. I'm waiting for a change in management, maybe I'll give them another try at that point.

anthony's beach cafe is on the ground level below anthony's home port. the 'home port' is the more upscale, snooty venue catering to the old folks in edmonds, while anthony's veach cafe caters more to the... er... middle aged folks and their kids. I like the fish tacos and the smoothies. most of the food is pretty greasy, although they apparently bring home the "Evening Magazine" awards. maybe I've eaten there too many times. the price may be higher than what is worth.
