Check out garden centers for Halloween items, too. English Gardens has beautiful mums to choose from, as well as scarecrows for yards, bales of hay, corn stalks and the like. The closer to Halloween you shop, the more of a discount you may be likely to get. If you go inside, you may find some Halloween lights and decorations for your home. Be sure to check out their Kids Club. Every year they have a Halloween contest for the best costume on a certain day of October. My daughter, Sabrina, also a CE here at JB, won when she was 5 with a Straweberry costume. She got a $20 gift certificate to spend at English Gardens! Have fun!

This garden center is located on Kelly Road, between 8 and 9 Mile Roads. The store is well kept and staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There is a variety of items offered at this facility, including flowers, pots, soil, trees, plants, gardening supplies, fountains, Christmas trees, Christmas ornaments, sun dials, hoses, outdoor decorations...the list could go on and on. Prices are in line with other garden centers, and they also advertise in the local papers with coupons to save you more money. Parking looks like enough, but sometimes it isn't. Can get busy. The parking is located in front of the building and parking slots are on a slants!
