Hello Readers,
My name is Sara formally from Salon Lush. First, I would like to thank all the wonderful reviews from my clients. It means so much to me that you took the time to write these special things about me. Unfortunately , on April 1, 2009, we recently lost our lease at 503a Newbridge Road in East Meadow, NY. Odete and I have moved and are working at New Beginnings Salon @ 142 Balsam Lane, in Levittown, NY. If you need to reach us the phone number is still the same (516-409-5874). The prices here are about average in comparison to other places. The staff is very nice and helpful. You usually don't have to wait more than a few minutes if that if you have an appointment. They do accept walk in's but there may be a wait. They have a great assortment of colors for nails you can also bring your own if you want. For a small fee you can also have your own file in a storage box, that way you don't have to worry about getting any kind of fungus due to other people using the same tools as you.

with any purchase and will keep a box for you
in the store to use the same files each time
you visit. they are open seven days a week.
The nail polish is not expensive if you choose to purchase the same color that you had your nails done that week, and it wears quite well.
the staff is friendly and they make decent conversation as you are having your work done

I live in Queens yet I go all the way to Strong Island Barbers also known as Barber's Lounge because these guys are simply the best. They have from what I believe five barbers on hand and out of those five one of them is decent and three of them are AMAZING. The guys that I would recommend are "Fat Joe" , Remy and Dex (my barber). The cost for what I get which is a tape up, shape up and scissoring the top of my head is $12. I would recommend that you make an appointment with one of the barbers before going there because for the most part the top three are usually booked so you might have to wait a while.

Lemon tree started as sort of a a barber shop rather than a "hair salon-" so the stylists there have a no-nonsense attitude about hair. It's a small place, but the stylists are super talented and can make intelligent conversation while they cut your hair. The decor in the store is very plain so dont
expect anything fancy, they have just the basics.
because it isnt fancy the prices arent soaring
and you get a good deal

All of my female friends rave about this place. They love the way their manicured nails look. The nail techs are friendly and knowledgeable. If you want your nails done for every day wear or if its for that special event, you should definitely go to Angel Tips Nail Salon. All the girls I know go here and so should you!
