I was referred to Dr. Vinny, as he likes to be called, by our pediatrician when my son got to the age of getting his teeth cleaned and I've been going there ever since... it's been 7 years now, and I'm now bringing my daughter as well. The office is newly built and beyond beautiful (They used to have their office in a big old victorian house next door) and it even made it into a a dental magazine where Dr. VInny and his office was a cover feature with lots of pictures and a huge article! You feel like you're in a small villiage when you visit inside the office, and the waiting room is much like a covered porch indoors and loaded with toys and a family friendly bathroom. You'd really have to see it to appreciate it. The staff is professional and a lot of fun-both of my children LOVE visiting the dentist since they've never had a bad experience, I'm sure it will shape how they feel about visiting the dentist as adults. The hygienists are friendly, playful, but also efficient and do a great job, very good with children and the exam rooms are big enough to be parent-friendly too, so that we can come in and sit with our kids while they get their teeth cleaned, or whatever else they may be in for. At 5, my son needed a filling and he wasn't scared or sore at the end of the session, which was a big relief to me since I was concerned he'd freak out about a needle in his mouth, but Dr. Vinny did a great job numbing him up topically and said it was so that he didn't feel the little bee sting of medicine to help him do his job fixing my son's tooth. I truly cannot say enough good things about this office, they're great and I'd definately travel to get to them if I ever have to move from our area. They have Saturday appointments too, which is a big plus for those of us who have to work during the week. :)
