I was absolutely amazed to hear when I first moved here that Michigan State University had its own golf course on campus. Then I found out it actually had two! Then I found out how great they are!! Forest Akers Golf Course is 36 holes of great golf. The East Course is the value course for the average golfer. The West Course is noticeably better for those who don't mind spending a little more money. Both are excellent courses for what they aim to offer. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one. They also have a great driving range facility and chipping range if you need to work on your game
