We moved here 14 years ago and found Gourmet Village just wandering around. The day we walked in it was packed with MSU faculty and their families- mostly Asian. The food was amazing and we found dishes just as authentic as one's we had in Kowloon. We order take out so often from GV that they know us now. Confused about what to get- try the Gourmet Hot Pot or one of their house specials. They never disappoint!!

Sad to say, the only reason my friends and I went to this restaurant in the first place was because so many italian restaurants were completely packed. We decided to go here for our joint-birthday dinner and we all got something delicious! Their food was exceptionally well made. Later on I found out many of my other friends stop by there often to get carry-out and they each have different favorite foods. Some of the titles of the foods are kindof cheesy, but don't be afriad to try any of those specials! My friends and I recommend the kungpow chicken, vegetarian's paradise and double wonder. PROS: Wide variety of foods CONS: not open late enough, wish it was open much later like until 2 am.
