The have a large selection of bikes from high end bikes to just something you want to ride around campus. Also they have very fast and afordable repairs on bikes, and all the the parts and accesories you could use. Staff is very nice and their is never anything they wont help you with.

The Fortress has open gaming nights...making it a great place for teens (and adults) who play Magic, RPG, etc to hang out...a booze free alternative. The people here all seem nice...my son and his friends have met some great guys here. They sell games, comics, miniatures, cards and more...and they have a great frequent buyer program. a cool place!

The Kresge Art Museum, located on the campus of Michigan State University, is a pleasantly diverse, if small, art museum. Their collections span from ancient Asian and African art and artifacts to more modern pieces from the likes of Calder, Rembrandt, Pollack, Dali and Rodan.
Best of all, this museum has free admission, asking only for a donation. Parking can be a bit of a hassle on weekdays during the school year, but its definitely a collection worth checking out.

This art gallery is located in the heart of East Lansing near MSU and has the greatest collection of International stuff. It has beautiful paintings to hand made items, ladies purses to clothings. The hand made items from India are wonderful. Excellent customer service and wide range of collection in a moderate sized showroom.

Lakewood Tack & Supplies in East Lansing is a wonderful little tack shop. They have the best brands for both the english and western rider such as Cruel Girl, Hobby Horse, Dale Chavez, and Devonaire. They offer a wide variety of show and work tack, as well as some great casual clothes and gift type items. I have become a frequent visitor to this tack shop as they have a great stock of those last minute items one may need for a show. They have also been really great about special ordering something for me if they dont have it in stock and they can usually get that item in really quick. I definitely give them a two thumbs up!

I went to Summits to look for roller blades and everyone was so helpful. The store is in a bad location so not many people know where it is. It is beside pet supply on grand river one block from Mansfield Drive. They have a wide selection of sporting goods and always have clearance selections. They even let me try the roller blades in the store and showed me ways to turn and stop. The also hold items for you which most stores will not do.
