Each time I have been there I have left with different feelings. Sometimes I go in and get great service from great girls. Sometimes its extremely busy, especially on the patio when its warm out, while other times its pretty slow. Sometimes the drinks take a while, not due to the servers but instead the ridiculous bartenders. I have heard that they have horrible management there and that the employees don't get treated well, maybe explaining some bad experiences. First, you will never go in there and see the same server twice... The turnover is ridiculous, and you can overhear all the waitresses (they are ALL girls) talking about how horrible the managers are... The food is decent, and the service is okay for the servers you're getting... Everytime I've gone in there, or overheard people that have gone there, they've said they had a new waitress that had only been there a week! The patio is alright, a little bit of chaos, but worth a shot. Drinks and food prices are reasonable, but if you're from out of state they will drill you at the door for your license! Recommend going there on nights the GENERAL MANAGER is working, the assistant girls are horrible and rude! ... hense, the no smiling also! Pros: Always completely over-staffed Cons: Everyone is new, assistant managers are rude

Renos is a really fun place. They have a huge food selection, a huge drink selection, and are always having different specials. The best thing they have going for them is the "tipsy taxi." Call them and they will pick you up from your location and bring you to Reno's free of charge. When you're ready to go just let them know and the tipsy taxi will drop you off at home or wherever you are going free of charge. They also sell beer to go, which is really nice at closing time.

Their patio is among the first in East Lansing to open in the spring, so it’s a usual ritual to end up there on the first day that breaks 70 degrees. The beer selection there is very extensive, as is the food menu. I have had a number of meals there and never been disappointed. Neither food nor drinks are really inexpensive, as your typical meal will cost you about $8-10.
