This little grocery store in East Lansing used to boast "Free Pop while you Shop" ... they had a soda fountain with tiny cups that you could fill up with pop while you shop.
While I'm not sure if they still do that (I haven't been to that part of the store in awhile), they are still a great little grocery/alcohol store ... and they have a wide variety of both.
Their prices are a bit high compared to the chain grocery stores, but often times it is more convenient to visit a local place like the Country Markett, instead of driving to Meijer or Kroger.

Country Stitches is a very nice store. They have a lot of sewing items. They have different classes you can take. Their prices are pretty reasonable. It is a large store with a lot of parking space. I would recommend this store if you are looking for something you can't find in other stores. Large selection of yarn.

I love shopping at Country Stitches. I like to sew and I get everything I need at that store. The store is very clean and very well organized. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. They also offer different classes. I have not taken any of them though. I think that their prices are average.

I have used H&H many times over the years for various vehicles and their repairs. The honesty and integrity they maintain is unbeatable and their customer service is top notch. There has been more than one occasion over the years where they could have easily sold me something but talked me out of it due to the age or condition of my vehicles. They even drive me to work and pick me up when my car is being repaired. I would recommend these folks to anyone as I know they will treat my friends as I would want to be treated. I have read the negative reviews and I would have to surmise that they come from the fact that we live in a major college town and they do tow quite a few vehicles that aren't parked where they are supposed to be. Sour Grapes.
Pros: Great Value! Not the least expensive place, but you always get more than you pay for!
Cons: There aren't more people like this in the world.

This place can be quite expensive for a dry cleaner. Shop around before you take your stuff to them. The bill can get very large very fast. There are other dry cleaners in town that have much better prices especially in east lansing and Okemos. The dry cleaner on lake lansing is much faster and less expensive.

Saper Galleries has a fine display of art for sale, both current and older pieces. They also have some wonderful exhibitions and shows. Every inch of this gallery is utilized. The staff are friendly without being in your face. This place REEKS class !!!
I have never had anything framed here, but have heard that they are skilled at framing.

I like to stop at this gas station when i am in the area. Their prices are comparable to other stations in the area. They also have a car wash which is really nice. I have used that several times and have been pleased with my wash.

Two years ago I needed a queen short and a camper bunk mattress. I got both here with great results. They custom made the bunk mattress and the quality was fine and not expensive. The queen short is a pillow top and is wonderful. I have this week bought two twin sets and because we have a truck and could pick them up they gave us the frames at no additional cost. Great service, friendly and when I told him what I needed they did not try to get us to get something that was more expensive than we needed but also guided us in getting the quality that we did need for a fair price.
