Yahia Abutaher MD is a great researcher over at Michigan State University but he also is a fantastic clinical practitioner as well. I’m glad that I was able to utilize him and that he was able to take my relative on as a patient because apparently he is really hard to get in contact with. If you ever have the need, and I truly hope you do not, you should go here because he is brilliant!

Total Health Chiropractic is an outstanding chiropractic center. This facility is excellent in dealing with a wide range of problems and also specialize in athletes and helping with preventative care strategies as well as treating problems as they arise. They also have chiropractors on staff that are knowledgeable and gentle. Both the front office and the physicians are superb at explaining what they are doing and helping patients through the entire process. This is a wonderful place for full body care. I have been very pleased with their services and absolutely recommend them.

I was just in at Ramblewood Radiology and had great service. The associates were very freindly and gentle. This is a fairly new building and is very nice inside. There is a good amount of parking. I would highly recommend them.

The Michigan State University Sports Medicine Clinic in East Lansing is one of the best sports medicine clinics in the area. They have access to the best diagnostic and treatment options and work with each individual to find the best treatment options for their situation. I have personally dealt with them for a torn ACL in my knee and they were so knowledgeable about the various treatment and therapy options available and worked to help find a combination that would be best for my situation.

The MSU psychiatric clinic is a teaching facility, but there are many clinicians that have been practicing for years. This is evident in their quality of care. Choose from a variety of psychiatrists to help with both counseling and medication needs. Another nice thing about this clinic is that you can go simply for medication management, or can choose to have counseling done as well. As a result, appointments can be made for as short as 20 minutes for medication needs or a full hour for counseling needs. Insurance is accepted.

They have all of the things you would need including contacts, glasses and they even do surgical procedures. Check out their website for more information. I think this is in a great location. Easy parking.

I was referred to LPA after a terrible experience I had with the MSU Counseling Center. At first, I wasn't sure whether this would be more of the same. I had never gone to a psychologist before, mostly out of fear and denial of my problems. However, Dr. David Brown at Lansing Psychological Associates helped alleviate any concerns when I first met him.
He cares about helping me and has an incredible "bed-side" demeanor. He was able to relate to me very well and help me deal with a lot of the problems I have been facing. When talking to my parents, he honored my request to keep the discussion focused on diagnostic/clinical issues only, not what I told him in confidence.
The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with, and they work well with insurance providers - taking care of most of the paperwork.
Overall, I would highly recommend LPA to anyone looking for help conquering the problems that prevent them from living a completely full life.

The diagnosticians here seem to be of high caliber and I always found them to be thorough with both my exams and my children's.
The eyeglass department was very disappointing in such a prestigious establishment. We paid more for our glasses here and not only were we never measured for correct frame size...no one seemed to know how to adjust the glasses on the head when the finished eyeglasses were delivered to us. I have worn glasses for 38 years...this is the only place I EVER purchased glasses that the frames were never adjusted on me for wear....even when I asked...it was like no one who worked ther even knew how !!!
So...I may go here for the diagnostics...but then I take my prescriptions elsewhere..
