Not entirely sure what "ButtaFlai's" deal is (previous review), but I had a wonderful experience and I was a little taken aback when I read her comments. I considered myself (and so did a lot of family and friends) to be a "bridezilla" and Kelly at "A Piece O' Cake" completely catered to my every whim. You wouldn't even believe what I put this poor woman through, and she never had anything except patience and a smile for me. I'm wondering what 3D figure ButtFlake had requested... I requested the lace design from my grandmother's wedding dress and intricate lilies that matched my bouquet and had a spectacular end product. Kelly actually drew me several sketches and listened to every request I had. I couldn't have been more impressed... and it takes a lot to impress me. I did not think the cake was overpriced at all... for the amount of detail I requested, she should have charged me much, much more. I would confidently recommend "A Piece O' Cake" to anybody. Except people who should probably order their cake from the Meijers bakery (ahem, ButtFlake)

I just love the vegetarian medley on the Ethiopian bread. I get a great dinner and with their discount card, it's only about $8.
It is ABSOLUTELY tremendous and quite healthy. I'm so glad I found this place.

This place is pretty good as it's close to campus and it serves decent food. The buffet are okay, but they have other traditional chinese dishes. They have dim sum and bubble tea and other Chinese dishes that are pretty authentic. Sometimes, if there is a crowd then the wait might be longer. The atmosphere is good and the restaurant is spacious and roomy. Most of the time, the service is pretty good also.

Great place for a drink and packed with MSU students (and sometimes faculity!). You get some great deals when you have the half off appetizers and wine nights. The beer selection is also pretty decent with a good selection of imports as well as domestics. This place is simply a good place to hang out and really easily accessible to campus as well as to the frats (right on the corner of Abbott and Grand River).

Beggar's is the perfect place in E.L. to have a good meal and even better alcohol at a reasonable price. The menu is creative, has good presentation, decent service ( college town) , interesting conversation and a great wine selection. If your in E.L. this is the place to go.
