This was a really neat way for me to do something different! Not only was the show itself awesome - but after the show we were able to walk around and look at all the pictures and things that they have on display in the main lobby. The show that we saw was really interesting - they made it fun to learn new information. After the show she showed us what the night sky looked like at that time and showed us different constellations we could always find as well as seasonal constellations that would be around for the next few weeks. It was really an amazing experience!

This school offers dance training for young children on up through adult classes. A variety of classes at different ability levels are offered. The studio has an intimate feel with experienced instructors who know their students. While this might not be the place for the most serious of dancers, those looking for a nice studio with a friendly feel will enjoy Ann's school of dance. Prices are extremely reasonable. Tuition can be paid monthly instead of by semester or year which is another nice benefit. The dance year is finished off with a recital.

They have a very unique selection. Its alot different than other local places, considering that the stuff they show do not cater to the norm. Their exhibits are very different than other local places and they really have a very elegant and great place. A must see if your in town.

What can I say? FBC has been around for over 25 years, has a ridiculously large selection of used CDs and vinyl and the staff actually knows a lot about the music they sell - you won't find some uninterested 16 year old behind the counter but rather someone who is passionate about music and can help.
Their prices are very fair and they are a local, independent record shop. If you are looking for a place to pick up stuff for your collection, this is the only serious choice.

I was absolutely amazed to hear when I first moved here that Michigan State University had its own golf course on campus. Then I found out it actually had two! Then I found out how great they are!!
Forest Akers Golf Course is 36 holes of great golf. The East Course is the value course for the average golfer. The West Course is noticeably better for those who don't mind spending a little more money. Both are excellent courses for what they aim to offer. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one. They also have a great driving range facility and chipping range if you need to work on your game

Many debates have taken place over America's most popular outdoor sport, but bowling takes the cake once you step inside. What other sport can you see an 8-year-old playing right next to an 83-year-old??
Marvel Lanes is a great place to go if you wanna knock a few pins down. It's a little out of the way, but that actually helps with being able to get a lane after leagues are done. Although, the Mayfair is close by, rounding out an excellent combo of rollin' and drinkin' in the same night.

The Michigan Athletic Club in East Lansing, Michigan, is one of the nicest fitness club in the United States. There are things there for every sport. There are multiple Tennis, Racquetball, and Basketball courts. There are also 4 different swimming pools 2 lap pools and 2 play pool(Including 1 slide). There are also many machines to work on every part of your body. In addition, each treadmill and bike has its own television so you can watch your favorite show while you exercise. Up stairs there is also a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat after you work out.

The MSU Dairy Store carries a huge variety of ice creams made on-site. My personal favorite is the strawberry cheesecake with pumpkin a close second. They switch out choices on a regular basis and have some perennial favorites. There is a quite large space inside the dairy store to enjoy your ice cream. Upgrading to the freshly made waffle cones is relatively inexpensive and a wonderful choice to make.
The dairy store also sells ice cream in cartons (quite impressive to show up at someone's home with) and cheese. The chocolate cheese is more like fudge with hunks of cheese in it (not really my thing). The dagano cheese (baby swiss) is to die for. I took it to a wine night one time and they went crazy for it.

They always have a very interesting array of work inside. The exhibits that are feautured here are constantly changing and they really open up your thinking about some of the art you have been exposed to. Its a incredibly nice atmosphere and experience and a must to anyone who passes through Michigans States Campus.
